yeah the sausage pluggin is basically soundgoodizer; a harmonic exciter plus compressor.

It can be a CPU issue or soundcard issue. Mostly likely a soundcard issue, which means you might have to upgrade if you can't streamline your system. It's a fairly common problem, do not worry.

@GudiBeats you might also be clipping your track too try turning down your volume in your master mixer so that it doesnt go over the clip line

@LuisC1495 You using FL? Go to Options>Audio Settings and turn the Sample Rate all the way up (Or just use ASIO4ALL) and you shouldn't get crackling, but, easy way would be don't produce music on a low end PC, or at least upgrade :)

add some reverb to it...that helps fatten it up a bit and gives it that dada life "feel" to it....
