I always thought they were so similar in character. like someone who wrote for damon loved qaf :) and now that i think about it, isn't kevin williamson, the guy that writes the vampire diaries show gay? than there is a big chance he loved qaf;) and they kinda look alike here. anyway, this is a great vid. i love the vampire diaries, and queer as folk is my all time fav.
When I first saw Ian on TVD, I said to myself "wow, he looks like Gale Harold" and then once Damon's character started to unfold I was like "Damon is the straight vampire version of Brian Kinney." Love both of these guys.
And the funny thing is now we have Ian Sommerhalder (Damon) on The Vampire Diaries at 7:00 and Gale Harold (Brian) on The Secret Circle at 8:00 on Thursdays on the CW. Course Gale is older now, but he still looks damn fine.

Based on another clip I saw, try Episode 15 "A Few Good Men" - the one where Elena finds out who her birth mother was.
