That mare is amazing I love Andalusian horses :) one of my favorite breed of horse! I have ridden a few dapple gray Andalusian mares they are just a joy :D
Wow, that horse is tight and the rider is nervous. Put a helmet on and push the damn horse forward. There is no contact and the rider is making the horse forward into it. The horse is twisting at the poll and the rider needs to push the quarters out. Nice horse though.
Hope is one of our boarder's horses. She is normally a broodmare and now that she didn't "take" this go around, its like we have this awesome horse to go trail riding on now!!!! I don't know if she will be bred again this spring or not but for now...Oh boy!! What a treat it is to ride an Andalusian!!!
Hey! You can ride her on the trails even if she IS a broodmare! I rode my Pure Spanish mare up until 2-3 weeks before her due date (very gently the last two months). You just need to keep them in shape all throughout the pregnancy. I wouldn't recommend jumping once she's too far along, but otherwise they do just fine... better than fine actually, it helps them have the stamina and muscle tone during delivery, helps them recover more quickly, and helps prevent edema common during pregnancy.
