  • Just got the cd today. Rules

  • I was the ONLY person in my HS to have this album...wore it out years ago SIGH! Please put up some more off of this great album

    thanks :)

  • this reminds me of vice city

  • do you have the rest of the album? I would love to hear the rest of this.

  • Wow. These guys were definitely KISS fans.

  • Can someone please post Somebody like you.... i used to love that song

  • Thanks for the great song! I bought this album the week it came out because I had $4.96 in my pocket. It was worth every penny. Wish I could have seen them live. Did they do a national tour as a support act, or just east coast shows?

  • bought the album on release and thought it was very good, should've had big success but unfortunately not.

  • Bought this album after hearing the song Somebody Like You played on the FM radio in 1978. I think I heard the song on the radio a total of two times, then never heard it again. It's a great album, a follow up album was recorded but the record company withdrew support and the album went unreleased. Prior to the Casablanca LP, there was an album titled Trigger Treat. Trigger was melodic rock at it's best, another group that played similar music was The Kind, an early 80's band from Chicago.

  • thanks for the info!!!! yes it seems much like The Godz who were also signed to Casablanca, Trigger may have released their album too late (during disco's high time and the advent of punk and new wave taking the attention off of traditional rock acts) to make a bigger impact, but obviously the fans have held on to them all these years later, a true testimony to their greatness!!!

  • You're welcome, thanks for posting this great Trigger tune. Yep it was disco in the late 70's and then the early 80's new wave movement that took attention away from traditional rock bands. Another comment about Trigger- Derek Remington, who sings lead vocal on Gimme Your Love and the majority of songs on the Casablanca LP, has that gravelly style voice very similar to Rod Stewart.

  • They have a website - TriggerRocks. Photos from back in the day and the recent Reunion, along with links to a message board and their MySpace page!

  • this sounds great. so they only released one album?

  • @tonetone71 Casablanca folded before the 2nd could be released.
