  • I agree with AMTKWNL

  • I still think steam engines would look better, they are nicer against the scenary, especially on a track like this!

  • no k

  • I do tend to agree that they would LOOK better against the scenery here - I'm not a big fan of steam but it would look better (more aesthetically interesting, etc) - but steam trains haven't run on the rails in this video in 105 years.

  • no -

  • I love this video, not only because of the area, but because of the train. Sad that you do not like genesis locos though.

  • they aren't the worst - but they are fairly ugly doorstops - and the MN G-string paint scheme only makes it ALOT uglier.

  • There's another thing...I love that paint scheme also. They are fairly reliable locomotives and not the only ones to have ever caught fire either. What do you think of the Gennies in the New Haven scheme? Those look really nice.

  • they look much better in the NH scheme - although I must say they look BEST in VIA's scheme - those look really cool - someone finally designed a paint scheme that looks good on the gennys......

  • How the years go by! When I was a kid, New York Central, and later Penn Central trains were cruising by on these rails. To me, it just seems like yesterday:)

  • I wish I had the digi-video 5 years ago when I stood on this bridge and shot the old NYC ACMUs.
