I don't think it's because Matt CAN'T play it but Jack pretty much wrote all the music for it and it would be kind of weird for them to play it w/ out Jack... it's 'his' song... same type of thing with them playing Angel w/ out Dave A.
Hasn't been played live since 1998. It probably has a lot to do with Jack not drumming on it. It's pretty complicated, but I think that Ed doesn't feel right about playing it without Jack.
