@Isthisthelongestname its not a march its a double light infantry doubled into battle or ahead of the main column during napolionic times when muskets were used its not silly its part of our long serving tradition just as many over regiments in the british army has "silly" traditions
The tune may have more than one name, but to me, it's known as "Mechanized Infantry March".
