on my 18th birthday a couple of my friends kidnapped me and took me to mongolian barbeque. i saw one of my friends tell the waitress it was my birthday. i was ready to slap him. thankfully the waitress forgot so there was no need xDDD
I know the feeling Nique. I always go to Japanese places for my birthday, and we always avoid telling them that because at most of the Japanese places I've been too, they make you stand up and flap your arms like a chicken. Thankfully, the one I go to now only does that if you call ahead and tell them it's your birthday when you make a reservation. If you walk in and tell them on the fly while the chef is cooking your food, he just gives you an extra portion and that's it (Thank God).
