Oppressed countries need freedom but picking on the Olympics is just screwed up... I think these "Rangzen" people should cry to the government not the IOC.I'm confused what should I support? I'm caught in the middle on this issue.

Do a google search of:
1) Map of Qing Dynasty (from 1644 to 1911) - Tibet was part of China;
2) Map of Republic of China (from 1911 to 1949) -- Tibet was part of China;
3) Map of People's Republic of China (from 1949 ~) -- Tibet still is part of China.
So, Tibet was part of China before Unite States even existed as a country.
Tibet WAS, IS and WILL forever be part of China, no matter you like it or not.

The Mascot Yingsel is the is Tibetan Antelope. China is using the Tibetan Antelope as an Olympic mascot in order to convince the world that Tibet is a part of China. Tibet is an occupied country. When China invaded Tibet in 1950 they killed more than 1.2 million Tibetans and destroyed more than 6,500 Buddhist monasteries. It is wrong to use this endangered Tibetan animal to serve the propaganda purposes of the Chinese regime which has brought destruction to Tibet. FREE TIBET!
