If Alagna was ridiculed in La Scala back then,what would they do to Cura after performance like this?!Firing squad? I hate when other people criticize artists on YT but after hearing this I can't help it.He's singing is awfull.I mean it's OK for my home town with small provincial opera house but not for A class theatres.What actal bothers me is that this guy is so famous and beacause of him some better tenors don't get atention they deserve .
the guy (Cura) has improved... his voice sounds somewhat better placed now than some years ago and the strange mannerisms do not annoy me as much in this part...

PS... I know of a recording of Trovatore with Beppe (B.Zvetanov) doing quite well in the title role!!
anche se è verismo bisogna saper CANTARE anche qua.... il tenore non mi piace.... non canta... sconvolge tutti i tempi.... non condivido il suo modo di affrontare il personaggio d Canio ne dal punto di vista vocale ne da quello scenico (per alcune cose) CMQ è un bravo artista e merita tutto il rispetto!!
