Hey Craig great bids as always. Just getting started myself. Was wondering if you had any ideas for a vanilla Porter. I will be doing a full boil and want a pronounced vanilla flavor. Any ideas would help.keep up the good work brother
Hi Craig, I just landed myself two 50 litre hand blown italian glass carboys packed in straw and encased in a cage... my thoughts are that I am relatively new to wine making and brewing and I really enjoy watching your tutorials, how about we do a Canada to UK link and brew up over skype?? you can post the edited content and we could do short follow ups as it ferments to tasting, what do you think?
omg i saw that thing years ago, its a fat mop it makes so much sense now! That litterally brought me back so many years, I never questioned it as a kid but now i know what that is! mind blown.
Greetings from Utah! Beer capital of America;). Love your channel - just came across it tonight and watched through the Wednesday night series. I've wanted to get into home brew for a while now and luckily we have some great local suppliers here in Utah.
Just hit the subscribe button and will be tuning in often. Cheers and good brewing
hi craig my name is paul and i was just wondering about your live show on justin tv i live in australia and it is friday here now is where you are a day before or behind us or same ???
Hey craig, me and my college roomates have started brewing our own beer in our apartment because its alot of fun and much cheaper than buying commercial beer. Thanks for your videos our we probably wouldnt have tried it. Its a hit at the parties. Cheers!!
Hi Craig, another new subscriber although i've been watching your videos since you started. Quick question did your holiday ale have any "Bananaish" flavours? I tried a brown ale and spiced it up a bit with mulled wine spices but it ended up just tasting of banana and I have (and still have) no idea why? Any Ideas?
Craig tell me that the Brewers Best Holiday Ale isn't the best home brew you ever made!!! It's a true Belgium Ale type beer!!! Savor it in a tulip beer glass!!! Salute!!!
@BarbarishFTW no, it's not illegal to brew wine/beer/mead/cider. It's however illegal to distill anything to get a higher alcohol content. Check out bryggforum.nu if you are interested in home brewing.
@iXopY Are you sure? *Big Smile* when i was on a Swedish website that sells items for brewing it stated in their terms of agreement that it was against the law to produce your own alchoholic beverages.
@BarbarishFTW I'm very shure. The whole lawtext is posted at bryggforum but here's the most important part: "2 § Vin, starköl eller öl får inte tillverkas utan tillstånd om det inte gäller tillverkning i hemmet för eget behov."
Whitch translates to something like: "Wine, strong- or light beer are not allowed to be manufactured if it's not intended for household needs."
So you're allowed to brew beer and drink it with your friends, but you're not allowed to sell it.

@wjohnson12321 That's a good question. I'm not sure. I'd have to know every step and every temp along the way.

@iXopY Correction depend on your last post - here, in Bulgaria, u can sell beer with no problem and u owe to country only standart taxes for trading
Nikolai4o1 1 month ago
@BarbarishFTW Thats very very bad to hear...
Here in Bulgaria even trade with brew has not restricted with any law.
You can do everything you want with alcohol with max of 15 %, beer, wine etc...
Unfortunately You have to brew illegal, Barb... thats not exactly wrong because, here in BG people do this all the time with alc of 40-45-50 % ...
