  • Where can i find radiator mount like this i need them to be about the size of the width of 2 fans to fit the tubing. Yours looks a little to long for my system but somthing like that or anything would do

  • I don't know about food coloring in some distilled water, I use distilled water for 4 months and it started to cause some issues with my tubing and block and I will like to kick with non-conductive Fluid instead..to me distilled water is only for Temporarily use

  • @keiki646 I've used distilled without changing it for over a year. Tubing issues are usually caused by the chemical composition of the tube itself. Plasticizer leech is the number one cause of fogging and residue in loops. I prefer Tygon. Primochill makes some of their own tubing using Tygon Forumula. In general the softer the tubing the more plasticizer is used...unless the tube is premium grade and formulated for water use it will fog. Water has the best heat transfer coefficient of any fluid.

  • @CyberDruidtheModGod Oh I agree with you on the Tygon Formula. but I did compare Distilled water with Feser Non-Conductive Liquid and Temps they were 5C lower than Distilled (summer) but Winter they were about 7C to 9C lower, also comparing them from Daytime, Night, and Rain weather conditions were a factor for me as well. My father is a Biochemistry for the Japan Government and he has build computer for a while and this is what I've learn from him and he still today build system for his own.

  • @keiki64 Politely, your methodology for testing must be flawed because this topic has been very well researched and the results have been posted on various forums dedicated to Extreme PC building. As far as I know the difference between distilled and the best non conductive fluids on the market is less than 1 C in favor of water. I wouldn't be too worried about losing 1C of cooling ify ou like using non conductive PC specific cooling fluid. I refute the claim that Feser cools better than Water.

  • @CyberDruidtheModGod Even if the research is right, just sitting down with my Papi-san and talking about it and the advantages is that distilled water still conducts electricity and non-conductive fluid is non-electrical conductive. Non-conductive liquid may not be as good as distilled water but the difference is maybe 2-3 degrees celcius. Don't quote me on this, Distilled water and 10% anti-freeze is common and high-performance low-cost cooling liquid (in some cases)

  • @keiki646 No argument there. I used PC Ice in many builds. It lasts a long long time with no need for changes. One rig here in the house has gone almost 2 years on the original fill of PC Ice. My first liquid cooled rig ran antifreeze and water. That was to prevent galvanic corrosion because at the time there were no large rads and I used an aluminum transmission cooler instead. But it came in handy when I started leaving a bunch of rigs out on the porch during the winter so I could over clock.

  • Hey Druid. I am planning to put my 360 Radiator exactly like this on my Antec 1200..but what device did you use to put it there so nothing is loose and so on. something like a thread bar? pls answere! thanks ahead!

  • where did you get the hardware to mount the rad on the back... specifically the long screw looking things. thanks
