PLA navy/airforce/2nd artillery corps are able to target any bases/naval bases and CAGS in the region. one succesfull strike on a carrier will be a major morale hit and US forces are spread thin. US should focus on their domestic problems first or else you will destroy itself anyway...

@wannago94 It depends. I'd agree with you with regards to China as their still learning although European jets such as EF use active cancelaton to hide themselves. This technology basically recieves, distorts then sends back the signal out of phase thus hiding the jet. Hiding the jet electronically as opposed to conventional VLO has it's advantages because AC is not vulnerable to adverse weather conditions and you don't need internal weapon bays meaning jets like EF can carry ram jet missiles

Jets such as F-22 muffle the engine heat to a degree but the secondary source of heat (the nose) cannot be muffled. The higher and faster you fly the bigger the target you are to infa red technology. VLO is very effective against low tech nations but it's not so much of an issue for high tech ones as sensors catch up. This is why Europe never bothered with VLO

@fdoca Looking at this plane, it is apparent China has a long long long way to go to catch up with Stealth technology with the US. Look at the nozzles shape on the engine- Massive RCS and would should up on infrared sensors like a 4th of july fireworks display. Stealth is a combination of technologies/ strategies and in that China has a long way to get up with the US and Russia. This thing would easly be detected by the F35 IRST and it's 360 degree IR sensor system. Furthermore given what experts have seen, they have been able to determine a F-15C with APG-63(V)3 radar is suffecient to neutralize the J-20 - 175 f-15 have already been mounted with APG-63(V)3

China completely borrowed / copy / stole the USA's YF23 design and added a small wing in front which they stole from the Russia jet and claim to have developed a jet of their own. Even the J-20 engines' are from the Russian's 4th generation get (which means that China can't even create their own jet engine). Anyway, it's nice that they are trying. @JVC7400 F22 has been capped at 183 to reduce cost and there had been several reported crashes already reducing the number slightly. F35 is modern but it's not the better or the two. 2000 of them F35 is just a waste of money. How often will they be used? They will just be a waste of space and racks up maintenance costs. China is supposedly testing their Gen 5 already. There has been reported leaks a few days ago of their J-20 which is looking interesting.

@ChineseStealthJXx lockheed martin will retain the capacity to restart F-22 production should the need arise although initially the price per unit will increase to account for restartng production. so its not like we burned the schematics and killed all the engineers..we can just make more. besides until someone builds adequate ballistic missile defense no major power will move on another openly. its just too dangerous. remove nukes and conventional war becomes possible once again.

PLA navy/airforce/2nd artillery corps are able to target any bases/naval bases and CAGS in the region. one succesfull strike on a carrier will be a major morale hit and US forces are spread thin. @wannago94 It depends. I'd agree with you with regards to China as their still learning although European jets such as EF use active cancelaton to hide themselves. This technology basically recieves, distorts then sends back the signal out of phase thus hiding the jet. Hiding the jet electronically as opposed to conventional VLO has it's advantages because AC is not vulnerable to adverse weather conditions and you don't need internal weapon bays meaning jets like EF can carry ram jet missiles

Jets such as F-22 muffle the engine heat to a degree but the secondary source of heat (the nose) cannot be muffled. The higher and faster you fly the bigger the target you are to infa red technology. VLO is very effective against low tech nations but it's not so much of an issue for high tech ones as sensors catch up. This is why Europe never bothered with VLO

Look at the nozzles shape on the engine- Massive RCS and would should up on infrared sensors like a 4th of july fireworks display. As for H-10, technology based off the F-117 in the shape of a B-2 bomber which served in the US and now the 117 is retired. No one is saying Chinese stealth is utter crap.......

Stealth is a combination of technologies/ strategies and in that China has a long way to get up with the US and Russia. This thing would easly be detected by the F35 IRST and it's 360 degree IR sensor system. Furthermore given what experts have seen, they have been able to determine a F-15C with APG-63(V)3 radar is suffecient to neutralize the J-20 - 175 f-15 have already been mounted with APG-63(V)3

Even the J-20 engines' are from the Russian's 4th generation get (which means that China can't even create their own jet engine). Anyway, it's nice that they are trying. lol F-22 production is canceled for obama F-22 is not in production anymore is dead. Only Sukhoi PAK FA is in pre production and soon our J-XX prototype have its first air test.

When they do we can easily start the assembly lines again. In the mean time suck on the exhaust from our F-35's

USA ended the production of the f22, they only do 200+- because they already have enough to control the airspace worldwide

@JVC7400 F22 has been capped at 183 to reduce cost and there had been several reported crashes already reducing the number slightly. F35 is modern but it's not the better or the two. 2000 of them F35 is just a waste of money. How often will they be used? They will just be a waste of space and racks up maintenance costs. China is supposedly testing their Gen 5 already. There has been reported leaks a few days ago of their J-20 which is looking interesting.

@pakjai The F35 is far more capable than the F22 when it comes to Air to Ground. and it still packs a great punch in Air to Air. The reason to buy 2000 is not more stupid than having almost 100 Tu-22's how much are they going to be used? how about 350 Mig-29's How much ar they going to be used?
China's stealth jets is a joke no offense, they would benefit far more from buying the russian T-50.

@ChineseStealthJXx lockheed martin will retain the capacity to restart F-22 production should the need arise although initially the price per unit will increase to account for restartng production. so its not like we burned the schematics and killed all the engineers..we can just make more. besides until someone builds adequate ballistic missile defense no major power will move on another openly. its just too dangerous. remove nukes and conventional war becomes possible once again.

The PAK FA is not in production, it's still a prototype.
And the J-20 is not in production either, it's still in flight testing.

@ChineseStealthJXx No the f22 has 186 production just ended this year even though they were canceled a year ago. 186 will take a long time for any other 5th gen to match. your j20 stealth bomber becuase the stealth only be good head on any other direction and it be pick up easy with a high RCS do to the canards. Then the f35 has 15 already built out producing the t50 pak fa 3 prototypes. and 1 j20 1 jxx.
