That B would have to be a Bb if it's G harmonic minor. You have the notes right though. I refer to that as the D Bhairav scale. A sitar player taught me that scale and that's what he called it, so I stuck with that name.
"Misirlou" is an old Egyptian song re-vamped by Dick Dale and heard on the Pulp Fiction soundtrack. It shares the flatted 2nd and flatted 6th scale, as well. I use it myself and although it has a Major 3rd, it doesn't sound like it is in a major key. It sounds very exotic... especially to Western ears (Western-ers). Cool!!!
I think he uses the same scale in that song that I use in this one. I was taught this scale by a sitar player and was told that it's name was the Bhairav scale. Here is the formula for this scale. (1,b2,3,4,5,b6,7).
It is very cool in that it sounds minor and major at the same time somehow.
Never mindi. Here is the name of the video " 'Ragas' on Guitar, Indian Classical playing " copy paste it search box and enter. Click on the first video.
Well, I just call in "India". I came up with this myself although the melody probably is pretty standard for Indian music. The scale I'm using is called the "Bhairav" scale I believe. It's these notes. - D, Eb, F#, G, A, Bb, C#, D. Or in interval terms that would be
1, b2, 3, 4, 5, b6, 7, 1.
The root note is D so I'm droning on the 4th string (D) and then playing that scale on the 3rd (G) string.
Yes, this is just standard tuning. It's in D and I pick the 4th string (D) as a drone throughout. It probably would sound really cool with the low E tuned down to a D as well.
Hi. Yes, that's a Fender strat. Use the bridge pickup, turn your tone all the way up, and pick very close to the bridge to get this sound. I'm using a little bit of delay (echo) on it as well.

Clear where this one gets its name. What is that, Fender Strat? Never heard one sound more like a sitar. I like it.
