  • Ving is just an asshole with nothing to say.

Don't know why so many people idolize him.

  • @Angryschizoid he is very handsome for one thing-he said some great things "I don't care about you fuck you" come on man if that ain't profound I don't know what is,but I'm sure you can't understand-you weren't there!

It was a lot of fun

  • @vedicardi Um...the Circle Jerks were in Decline. They just weren't interviewed.

  • circle jerks weren't actually in the doc lol that's hilarious

  • does anyone else have a total boner from taking too many viagras. im sorry but im 50 and did too many drugs--but if i take 5 viagras i can get a high school boner and fukc any young stank bitch.

  • does any else get a boner off of back street boys?

  • i miss punk rock,,, before it was all turned into pop ll

  • I want a revival of the punk/hardcore scene! I'm 18 right now and I feel like I missed it!

  • @TheOfficialSyndrome well create one damnit.

  • @TheLegendaryTim Sounds easy enough but it's tough. Me, my girlfriend, and my friends are doing our best!

  • @TheOfficialSyndrome Go to the right shows man!

  • @GnarKillx420 I wish! I live in the bible-belt of mid-america. The only hardcore shows around here are from shitty christian preacher bands.

  • john doe reminds me of butthead in this

  • Thanks for the music Lee

  • Good and inspiring docu on the L.A. Punk/Hardcore scene.

Lee Ving's said to be a jerk on/offstage but he looks decent in the interview and pretty articulate too ( heh ).

  • Martinis

  • excellent! anyone know where i can find the entire video containing this clip?

  • Daddy? Daddy? . . Did you really slam-dance in the pit and cut-yourself and others with razor-blades?

  • Old people are ugly!

  • Shit 1980 in 2011 again!

  • Imminent danger. good line. and yea...we picked ppl up if they fell so they didnt get killed. but we grew up with imminent death and nuke-war with ronnie ray-gun. so we at least tried to save ourselves...because we thought we were survivors. we can die tomorrow....lets get fucked up now!

  • am i the only one who got a boner from penelope spheeris?

  • @DenyVoidDead no =)

  • @DenyVoidDead Ill get a boner when she gets off her lazy ass and releases this on dvd. She has been promising this for years and still we wait..

  • @msinthrop hahahaha ♥ x

  • @msinthrop She sent an email recently saying she's still working on it. She even sent me a free copy of Part III on VHS. :)

  • @Bartleby317 Whats VHS...LOL

  • @msinthrop I think much of that has to do with copyright issues regarding Black Flag's music.

  • @msinthrop i still get a boner for the lazy eyes

  • @DenyVoidDead no.

  • @DenyVoidDead Now do the thumbs up mean "Yes, I agree!" or "Yes, you are the only one!"? I'm going to assume the former.

  • @DenyVoidDead I'm 51, and my health ain't so great. I have a difficult time getting a boner, regardless of how hot the motivation is LOL !!!

  • @DenyVoidDead nope, sexy... now she's a sexy old bitch and I love it

  • Red Tape!

  • I cut my teeth on this stuff. All the punk shows I went to growing up were just like they explained. Just blowing off steam. If a guy fell in the pit, you picked him up. You didn't crush him or intentionally hurt him. It's really not violent if you can wrap your head around the intent behind A true punk show.

To quote a line from one of the punk songs I wrote 12 years ago, "conceived for the kids, it was all they had. More than just a fashion or a disappearing fad. It's an independent move

  • hahahaha. "i liked it"

  • Wicked pissa

  • the greatest punk rock movie of all time.

  • I remember when this came out. I bought the dbl cassette tape, and wanted to see the movie, but it was only on in the theaters a very short time.

  • never saw this clip good lil bit to throw on as extras on a dvd any idea when decline 3 will get a proper release on dvd or bluray?

  • X RULES --BLACK FLAG RULES--LEE VING IS INTO LITTLE BOYS --PUNK ROCK RULES BIOOOOOOTCH

  • All you assholes who call this crap, look what your generation is producing today, please, don't make name names, you know who and what belongs to your gay and faggot heritage, and frankly, if I was from your group, I'd be ashamed to say anything at all, your generation is an embarrassment to the artist's that came before you.

  • @duqmiguel wow i had no idea all shitty music was exclusively made in the past ten years thanks!

  • X is fucking awful

  • This film should have been called "A Tempest in a Teapot". These are a bunch of spoiled, middle-class kids throwing temper tantrums out of there boredom! Her "analysis is non-existent.

  • The germs we're awfull....I mean that in the most objective sense.

  • Lee Ving is the man.

  • The woman at the end who says she feels sad for the kids is hilarious. People in ghettos kill and rob eachother DAILY.... and its encouraged with rap music..... constantly,. and also encouraged by the major media like CBS, Warner Brothers, ABC and every other coward industry who sucks up to crack cocaine fueled ignorant culture.... even the Grammys is afraid of rap culture... and sucks up to it. Punk in comparison is quite harmless.

  • @tedcantu1 Yeah,it cracks me up that this stuff used to scare people.Nowadays it seems almost quaint. That said, they left out Alice Bag,who I thought blew everyone else away.

  • @tedcantu1 ahh not true. if you knew anything about all of the violence and killings that the hardcore punks did back in the early 80s, a lot of those guys are in jail or dead. a lot of those dudes used to shoot up black hoods. real crazy fuckers. go read jack grishams book called An american demon and you will learn about the hb wolfpac.

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork Wow, thanks for the insight, I had no idea that kind of stuff went on. This opens up a whole new chapter in this saga. I will definately check this out.

  • @tedcantu1 you have to remember there were a lot of punk rock gangs back then like the hb wolfpac, outsiders, lod, circle one, fff, lads, lmps, and just crazy/mentally not their, and I doubt any of those guys would ever admit anything these days.

but you can sort of get an idea if you look here,

    trakmarx . com/2007_02/16_sun_f . html

  • @tedcantu1 You do realize that punk and hip hop shared a lot of ideas and had profound respect for each, right?

  • @willabema Profound? No I didnt know it was "profound". But OK. Personally, as a punk, I hate hip hop and rap to death. But thats just me.

  • @tedcantu1 Yeah, it was pretty profound. Minor Threat and Chuck D were good friends. Beastie Boys (who suck) were a hardcore punk band before starting out. Can't forget the Bad Brains.

Yeah, there was respect there. Even the powerviolence bands of the early 90's used snippets of hip hop songs on their albums.

Hip hop today sucks but the golden age had substance. You shouldn't hate the entire genre.

  • excellent lee ving interview!!

  • Great interview...wish it was longer.

  • SO HAPPY THIS WAS POSTED!!!!!

  • I love how the news reporter says X gives an exciting performance, haaaaaa. They should have shown Circle Jerks or Fear instead.

  • @LoliVomits Amen to that. X is an Amish funeral compared to the Jerks or Fear.

  • @LoliVomits you forgot Black Flag. and Minor Threat. and all of the Oi! bands. and ill even go out and say early DRI

  • @mcxznbv I think we can agree that everyone gave a better performance than X.

  • @LoliVomits x rule buddy

  • @needmypunk Nope.avi

  • @LoliVomits god i hate when peopel push there opinions on a punk rock page

  • @needmypunk :D
