  • hey does anyone have any tips, i just bought (my first car) a 1993 ford taurus sho with 65,000 miles on it. The owner said all it needs is a new brake booster. thanks!

  • i don't know why people can a engine a motor a motor is electical motor

  • royal purple with a cheap fram filter lol

  • I definitely did not notice that yellow bottle of Penzoil. ;D

  • It's my first time watching this show, and its very professional and informative. I wasn't expecting the outtakes, but I like how they add some personality to the show. Nice!

  • sears tool guy looks nervous

  • @retroguitarmaster He didn't have much camera time but he did great. It's not easy!

  • Episode 100 coming up

  • Harbor Freight for cheap gear, I know u pretty much have to promote Sears since they sponsor you

  • Hope some of your friends has an BMW 740i E38 needing a tranny oil replacement...

It happens that outside US, BMW dos not replace this gearboxes oil, and they break at about 120000 miles or so...

It would be nice to see how it is done, as far as this gearboxes (ZF 5HP24) have no level dipstick...

I've had mine done, but I think they left the level low. I'll love to see the correct process so I can fix the level if it is wrong.

  • Chris I have a question about my tranny, but it requires a phone call, or a long email. Would it be okay to contact you? Thanks, any help would be GREATLY appreciated. My buddies and I are thinking the filter may be clogged with shavings from muddin and taching out 2nd gear on an auto tranny, or fluid may be too thin and screwin up the friction plates. It's an 05 F150. Bought it used with 67k miles and thought it had a tranny flush. Now at 91k so maybe it didnt have a flush if this is happening.

  • A cheap fram with some good oil Zoot

  • Those are some pretty awesome looking wheels. I wonder how well suited they are for 4x4's and how much off road punishment they can handle?

  • was the quarter put in at the factory too??

  • at 6:54, I'd bet you'd give a case of beer for a small hand held elec or air,, puff,, puff!

    Excellent Video!

  • regular motor oil looks like a poo stain on that paper towel..

  • ever gonna work on a genesis coupe? i love those cars and im interested to see how its like to work on a korean car...

  • @juukyuu7666 There aren't too many of those around here... but we'll keep an eye out for one!

  • @motorztv

    why thank you

  • I really enjoy your vids, Chris ! Greets from Germany, TheGetawayer

  • Altimax tires are great!

  • Why did you black out all the labels except for the RP ones? Just curious.

  • @Olskoolbeats Our intern got silly with the black tape! Actually, see previous Q&A from KillerZero259 :)

  • @motorztv Gotcha.

  • So to add refrigerant to the car, do we hook up the can to the low end or the high end? I would like to do this but I'm confused. I have a Acura Integra

  • @caquillo07 Low end. See at 13:45

  • @motorztv Thanks! I thought it would be differ from car to car.

  • Mazda6? Chris, you have some class. I love mine. :) I'm 124k in and it still blows ice cold. Haha.

  • @americansmark This vehicle lives in San Diego, so its A/C gets a lot of use :)

  • @motorztv Pssh. You guys should just roll down your windows and enjoy that weather. Try dealing with 8-10" of snow half the year and 90-100* days the other half with tornado watches every other day. Ohio weather sucks. lol. I'd love to be in Cali.

  • @americansmark Oh we do... however sometimes the high temps aren't so enjoyable when driving. Snow? What's that? LOL

  • 8:17

  • @moterztv my 08 f150 keeps haveing problems with missing and rough idling iv taken it to the dealer several times and put on 2 new coilpacks and e3 pugs which are sweet and it cured the miss for a little wile it only has 21600 mi and is fine other than that any ideas or similar probs with ur f150

  • GEEZUS! Those Dick Cepek rims are HUGE!

  • @ambee514 They sure are!

  • Why use such a sub-par oil filter, with great oil?

  • @XenomorphLV426 There's nothing wrong with it :) Plus it's one that's available at just about every auto parts store.

  • Great show guys, I just wish you didn't tell people about the refrigerant. AC problems should really be reviewed by a professional, don't mess with it. Oh and that coolant flush kit is not a very good method either.

  • @mrjost55 Thanks! The coolant flush kit isn't the best, true, but it's the most common one available at auto parts stores and you are limited when doing it at home.

  • when you add ac refrigerent, put the bottle in hot water because that causes it to expand so you get more in. Great video

  • @americantractors Thanks for the tip, and for watching!

  • i got a 1980 chevy scottsdale that needs some body work....

  • Are you guys going to do any epsiodes on Ford Diesels soon?

  • @shsmustangs Nothing is planned in the immediate future, but you never know!

  • I love the way people say you just have to add a/c refrigernt if your a/c is not cooling it has leak in the system because refrigerent does leace the system without having a leak

  • @12344richard You could definitely have a leak, but that was not the case on our Mazda 6. It was just time to add refrigerant--which solved the problem for us.

  • chris, why is the conventional oil lable all covered up? but royal purple is fully exposed?

  • @KillerZero259 RP helped sponsor the episode whereas the other manufacturer did not.

  • @motorztv oh right, that makes sense.

  • why bother with royal purple oil when your gona use a fram filter?

  • @PQPLAYER92 it's not required to use a higher quality oil filer when using a synthetic. Royal Purple does make oil filters, BTW, but one was not available to use for this episode.

  • @motorztv royal purple does 2 make oil filters tryed to post link but it wont let me just google royal purple oil filters one of the best ones out there.

  • @PQPLAYER92 Dude he didnt say they didnt make RP Oil Filters, he said one wasn't available.

  • I always wanted to know how to do this.. awesome!

  • LOL @ the wet spot on the Sway bar after the cut away... Fast Funnel didn't work I guess.....

  • @Twiztidpsychokiller No, it totally did work! That dripped on there when Chris removed the bolt.

  • @motorztv Lol right on, I thought maybe it was coming out to fast for the funnel and overflowed. Love the show.. keep up the good work!!

  • YES!!!Been waiting for this for a long time now,btw i LOVE royal purple
