hey does anyone have any tips, i just bought (my first car) a 1993 ford taurus sho with 65,000 miles on it. The owner said all it needs is a new brake booster. thanks!
It's my first time watching this show, and its very professional and informative. I wasn't expecting the outtakes, but I like how they add some personality to the show. Nice!
Chris I have a question about my tranny, but it requires a phone call, or a long email. Would it be okay to contact you? Thanks, any help would be GREATLY appreciated. My buddies and I are thinking the filter may be clogged with shavings from muddin and taching out 2nd gear on an auto tranny, or fluid may be too thin and screwin up the friction plates. It's an 05 F150. Bought it used with 67k miles and thought it had a tranny flush. Now at 91k so maybe it didnt have a flush if this is happening.
So to add refrigerant to the car, do we hook up the can to the low end or the high end? I would like to do this but I'm confused. I have a Acura Integra
@motorztv Pssh. You guys should just roll down your windows and enjoy that weather. Try dealing with 8-10" of snow half the year and 90-100* days the other half with tornado watches every other day. Ohio weather sucks. lol. I'd love to be in Cali.
@moterztv my 08 f150 keeps haveing problems with missing and rough idling iv taken it to the dealer several times and put on 2 new coilpacks and e3 pugs which are sweet and it cured the miss for a little wile it only has 21600 mi and is fine other than that any ideas or similar probs with ur f150
Great show guys, I just wish you didn't tell people about the refrigerant. AC problems should really be reviewed by a professional, don't mess with it. Oh and that coolant flush kit is not a very good method either.
@mrjost55 Thanks! The coolant flush kit isn't the best, true, but it's the most common one available at auto parts stores and you are limited when doing it at home.
I love the way people say you just have to add a/c refrigernt if your a/c is not cooling it has leak in the system because refrigerent does leace the system without having a leak
@12344richard You could definitely have a leak, but that was not the case on our Mazda 6. It was just time to add refrigerant--which solved the problem for us.
@PQPLAYER92 it's not required to use a higher quality oil filer when using a synthetic. Royal Purple does make oil filters, BTW, but one was not available to use for this episode.
@motorztv royal purple does 2 make oil filters tryed to post link but it wont let me just google royal purple oil filters one of the best ones out there.
Seriously anyone knows thats a fram filter.... Why use it with royal purple. it defeats the purpose

Hope some of your friends has an BMW 740i E38 needing a tranny oil replacement...
It happens that outside US, BMW dos not replace this gearboxes oil, and they break at about 120000 miles or so...
It would be nice to see how it is done, as far as this gearboxes (ZF 5HP24) have no level dipstick...
I've had mine done, but I think they left the level low. I'll love to see the correct process so I can fix the level if it is wrong.

Those are some pretty awesome looking wheels. I wonder how well suited they are for 4x4's and how much off road punishment they can handle?

when you add ac refrigerent, put the bottle in hot water because that causes it to expand so you get more in. Great video
