during my grandfather's life,he was married to a woman named sharron. she was not my grandmother,and she would never let us visit with him. when he died,it was hard....my grandfather, whom i had never gotten the pleasure of knowing had passed away,and the bitch didn't hold a funeral for him. my only regret is that i didn't pressure my mother about seeing him as a child. i still have the stuffed animal he gave me when i was a baby,and i will never let it go,just like the memory of him.

i lost my granpa when i was 9.. that was the last time i saw him was on my birthday then we had to come back to indiana and then in the autumn my dad told me that my granpa had went to live with jesus up in heaven.. so when i got home i sang this song to a picture of me and my grandpa and it felt like he was there with me.. i miss my granpa.... i am now 13 going on 14 and these are the times that i really need him... so cherish every moment like its the last:)

Just lost my grandfather today because the hospital thought he was fine when he wasn't. He went missing, and they couldn't find him. At 7am this morning, they found him dead in front of the hospital. I'm crying so bad. 2 years ago when my Poppy died we had this luncheon after his services and this was one of the songs that was played. I've barely listened to it since then since its made me cry too much. I love this song so much. The only thing is when Miley says that he can't see her anymore; They're watching over us and he can see all her accomplishments and he's very proud of her. <3
