Great place to fish! The dam is good but too many people fish there. I went down a little and caught alot of fish off nightcrawlers and when you catch bluegill you can cut their head off and use it for bait and then u better watch your pole. you can use its other body parts too but that is some good bait and chances are you'll probably catch a big carp or Big catfish. The fish smell the blood and that is what attracts the big fish.

I agree with gkoma1. Game fish should be catch and release only. The other day I saw a guy catch a 17'' bass and threw it in the grass 4 no reason. Conservation police caught him and gave him a $75 fine. They should have arrested the douche bag! I catch less and less fish every year cuz of assholes like that!

there isnt shit in the lagoons due to people taking fish home even the little ones!!! this is a beutiful place and should be catch and release only!! its close to home and many diffrent type of fish can live here only if the assholes taking them would release them.....ahrrrrrrrrrr..

yellow bass, shiners.... and some monsters cats. I havent caught a single pike this year, i think they may have stopped stocking them because they are such predators that they ate all the other stocked fish :D

me neither, i think they stopped stocking them. been fishing here for 3 days now, for a few hours at a time. Using an 8lb line, and a 15 dollar reel, Ive landed 1 crapppie/bluegill, 1 7 inch small mouth, 1 10inch small mouth, and using stinkbait, landed a 15lb 29 inch monster channel/bullhead catfish. the lagoons have proven great for a novice fisherman such as myself. Work the fallen trees, feel out the depths, and if you are on the south end work the forked connecting routes.
