@staystrongxxstarveon on the flying camel- when you jump, already have your back arched and leg straight. Spread eagle- get on the outside of your blades without sticking your bottom out. Good luck!

@Kokotakis I'm stuck on my spread eagle because whenever I lean back too far I slip and when I don't go too far it looks a mess - have you got any tips?:)

@PrincessonIce01 I know exactly what you are talking about!!!!! What I think about is pushing my hips forward, not leaning back. Try that.

your double/double/double was excellent! just make sure you dont toe-axel your double toes :)

@sparkelzz97 I just watched this for the first time in a long time and my double toes were such bad toe axels!!!! They aren't like that now, trust me.

Hi, Gia is skating very good! I have also a figure skating daughter. She started at 8 years old and is now 10. She is now landing the axel and double salchow. Your daughter is an example for my daughter. How many training hours does she make during the week?

@BassieCutler I found this when I searched the music on the Zorro Sountrack on Limewire which no longer exists. I assumed that this piece was part of the soundtrack.

@skaterbelieber1 Get centered before you do anything else! I have learned that the hard way.  You can't center the spin from the position variations. Center first, then move into the layback or sit or whatever.

@skaterbelieber1 She started working on her axel at the age of 5 1/2....landed it before she turned 6 but needed another year to get a true, consistent axel. A year is about the average time, I think.

@BassieCutler Well, she hasn't outgrown any of them yet. We have them made with extra material so that they can be let out as she gets taller. The white dress is getting close, though. She is still planning to wear it for Artistic competition at La Jolla Open in April.

@NInavilleCT She is landing double axel and cheated triple sow and toe. She is 9 now and preparing for her first IJS juding system competition in San Diego March 25th.

@NInavilleCT Yes, of course. She can also do it in combination. She was too sick to do it at Regionals- the last competition of the season.

@135india  She was sick at Regionals and was too sick to do any of her doubles so I didn't even purchase the video.

wow she is absolutely amazing :) congrats! I started skating when i was 14 and i'm now 15 (I've only been skating for 35 weeks) and i'm just beginning on my layback and back camel along with my lutz and hopefully my axel :) she's given me the inspiration to work harder

@Charlskiicesk8r I give her a few choices and she chooses what moves her. I cut the music myself. I got the idea of Zorro from Evan Lysecek two years ago.

@EZnIZ Yes. She will compete Pre Juv at Southwest- a big jump up and program looking a little rough right now. She will have less than a month to prepare, but really wanted to try it.

@emilylte She cut the first spin short for some reason- she didn't do the back scratch spin. She said that she felt like she was running late.
