I remember when this episode first aired, I was so distraught when I saw dinobot die...AGAIN! Not fair.

To me, I look at this as the end of the story. While I enjoyed Beast Machines, it wasn't as good by miles compared to Beast Wars, and it seemed like a lot of the characters were a far departure from their Beast Wars characterizations.

Only negative part about this is the very end. Why did they just tie Megatron to the top of the shuttle? In the beginning of Beast Machines, he easily breaks the chains and escapes, enslaving all of Cyberton. All Prime had to do was place Megatron in lock and chain the shuttle under guard or something. He had the Beast Wars won but threw it away. Well, at least it led to Beast Machines, which was pretty good as well.
