  • Any music lover anywhere on this planet ought to be venerating AYINLA's supreme awesome entertaining talent!!

  • Egbaalake you are wrong in your illusration of Ayinla Omowura song from 07:20 to 07:40. What he actually said was "kosi ejo ti o fi oju di Asin (a small rat with a very high toxic venom) that will not die even though Asin is a very smal rat. I padon because you have already admmitted that your Yoruba is rusty.

  • "won o le mole to osupa, rara ko ni sese"===sneering and jeering remarks to his evil-minded protagonists.-------"ki won to so iro di otito a pe"----------hardcore confidence was too much for him . An aunthentic premiership singer;NOT conference lower league act. my people ( ile nje eniyan)

  • ayinla da grea8

  • Bring smiles!!! I have this on cassette somewhere and I used to lose it to friends all the time. I had to have this if I needed to drive long distance and my wife used to wonder why I love this music so much. It's interesting, I got to appreciate his music long after he was gone.

If you guys are serious about a site for him, let me know at my site on delenyc.com I'm a web host so it wont be a problem. my only cost will be the domain name. I can set up with a wordpress theme and a plug-in. Thx.

  • @delenyc It eould be very nice if you could do that. Ayinla Omowura is a genius who should be appreciated. Setting up a website dedicated to him would be very good.

  • Pls start from 7:20 ....I cant stop listening to this song, but it makes me drink beer alot

  • hello mr yormy, can u pls tell me wat this man was saying from 07:20 to 07:40. i ddint hear it clearly.thanks,i wait u

  • @sangoolukoso .Thanx for the interest.I believe he says"Genuine 'lorin wa....Ko si ejo(snake) ti o fi oju di ASE(?King Cobra) ti o ni gba iwe Asarailu(Death).Sorry my yoruba is rusty.Technically i think he is right.

  • @EgbaAlake ..........asin or asin is the poisonous rat commonly found at night time.

  • Yormeey can u pls load "Ki e ma je ngbo pe won ji yin lorin lo"

  • @ Yormeey..................Good idea and suggestion. I am all for this even if it will entail financial contibutions, You can count me in. I suggest you, Yormeey, team up with EgbaAlake and fashion something out. OLUMO a gbe yin o.

  • Yormeey, as discussed in the other thread (Abu Da Silva), I'm for this as well. I'll suggest we lovers of Omowura see how we can create a forum where we can have further discussions on this issue . I know some people in the Nigerian electronic media. I'll ask from the guys at NTA Ibadan if there might be some footages of his live performance that can be remastered to put on Youtube. We can even put together a website. Meanwhile guys more of these live plays!!! Thanks guys.

  • I remember then when i used to handle beer and reception section of my dad's hotel in molete ibadan,it was on high demand by customers...is great i love him he was too confident of himself...lolblessed memory

  • Yes, he was indeed confident. In fact you don't have to know him to realise this, he songs say it all.

I am so frustrated he died so soon.

  • Can u pls load "ki e ma se je ngbo pe won ji yin lorin lo" or what is the tittle may is loaded already

  • That's from 'Omi tuntun ti ru'. It was a snide remark to Alhaji Agba Barry. it was purpoted that Barry mentioned somewhere that people were plagiarizing his music. Omowura cheekily replied him hinting that Barry must be joking with such allegations. However, Barry could not reply before Omowuara died. In hindsight I wondered if Barry was reffering to Kollignton and Omowura (as one of Kollignton's mentor) was trying to defend Kollignton. I have it on cassette but not sure how to post it here.

  • The Good Die young......Bob Marley,Peter Tosh,Lucky Dube e.t.c.Omowura was definately amoung the greatests in Our own world.

  • You are right! He definitely was right at the top!

  • Wow this so nice... My dad of blessed memory said he won't allow any one to release is live plays.

In May 2010, it'll 30 years anniversary of his death, I wonder if anyone would be interested in signing up to facebook or any social websites or to do something to commemorate the legend, Ayinla Omowura ?

  • Keep on promoting the legend of Apala music.I guess you can get the live on cd this days. I can't wait to!!!

  • More Plssssssssssssss
