In the middle of watching, but I thought I'd state a few things I thought of. First off, for Male-to-Female HRT, both estrodial and spiro can be found at Target or Walmart (at least near me) as generics, which durastically lower the costs. Also, if you can find the right places, you might find a laser hair removal place that gives discounts to transwomen. There's a place near me that gives me 40% off, which brings the total for my face to about $348 for six sessions.

I couldn't tell if you were planning on just keeping the voice you have now always or eventually working on a new one.

@kingwoody911 I transitioned because i want to be seen and treated by others as a female. and side effects from the hormones? just the peeing alot, i get tired easily, and i have days when i am so lazy and just sleeps all day. Most of the other side effects are beneficial to me though (ie smoother skin, slower growth of body hair etc).

I guess it's cheaper being a butch(ier) transgirl rather than femme one. I don't have to invest in heels, pretty clothes, or makeup, or invest much time in maintaining long hair. Though... I love that many girls can and do invest the time to make themselves so very pretty!

Electrolysis usually runs between $7-12K for a full beard.

Alternatively, be prepared to complete and total rejection by your friends and family. Hopefully, that won't happen, but it has been known to occur.

You made some really good points about what is involved in transitioning.

I especially like the fact that you made the point of staying in contact with your therapist and endocrynologist.

It is very expensive.

You can find a good technician for laser but you really have to shop around, If anyone watching this video is involved with groups, ask other M-F who they see for laser/electrolysis.
