@qushus The ratings nixed it. If a show has too few viewers, sponsors panic and a show is cancelled. If a show has LOTS of viewers, but they are the wrong demographic to what the sponsors want (example: you sell men's underwear but all the viewers are women who don't buy men's underwear) then sponsors panic and pull their funding. That's pretty much what happened. Awesome ratings but no single specific target market and the sponsors freaked out.

Shows the gulf in class when Gomes and Manfredo get thumped against champions like calzaghe and cotto. It's not an easy way to make a living thats for certain.

I started boxing when I was 16 because of this show. Gave the sport of boxing a ton of publicity and showed that to be great you truely have to have heart and determination.
