Ok here's the deal.

Zapdos used Detect a lot in my game so I took the time to use Spore on the first turn.

Then I kept raping him with my Pikachu's Quick attack.

I switched to my Farfetch'd , used Swords Dance thrice.

( Oh shit It got up again! )

Used False Swipe.

Threw like 10 Ultraballs.

Threw a PokeBall for shits. It was caught! :)

at level 100 u put them in the day care and when there level 101 then u can level them up. same on level 200

If you weaken it more using a move like False Swipe, then put it to sleep (Hypnosis, etc.), catching it will be a lot easier, so you won't have to waste so many Ultra Balls.

weaken it to about when it goes yellow if you have a poison pokemon thaqt would be a great advantage some how try to poison it then use ultra ball when the health bar goes red and save before you fight it cause you gotta start again and it boring! just keep on trying till you catch it ! good luck mate! =)

I got mine so easy same with articuno alls i did was got there health red then sent out my hypno and used hypnosis. I used one ultra ball on zapdos and two on articuno i was so surprised usually it takes me forever because i kill them or sumptin!!

for me zapdos is so EASY to catch i onix in rock tunnel i lvl up to 35 above w/ attack of dragonbreath then he became paralyze and captured w/ poke ball

i was looking for raikou on the wild

when i found him he was with yellow hp sleeping

i cought him fast.

but then when i saw the summary it says encounter at lvl 128 at route 492 i was like wtf is that really weird guys?

there's a small trick i use, when u throw a poke ball keep pressing A rapidly until it hits the floor on the 1st shake press A on the 3rd shake press the A it made me catch articuno with 2 ultra balls
