In Russo's movie, AFTF, people say that the 16th amendment didn't give the ability for a new type of tax. The income tax is a direct tax and never has been constitutional. Is his movie in error?

The U.S. Supreme Court has held, and not been overturned, that the 16th amendment confered no new powers of taxation. Therefor, if we weren't (American citizens, living and working in one of the 50 states) taxable BEFORE we should not be taxed AFTER. The code is fine as it is written, it is GROSSLY and aggegiously MISAPPLIED.
