Yup. Even though I grew up with the PS2 (which actually owes some of its existence to Nintendo), it's true.

They saved the US and Canada from the horror that was the video game crash of '83.

They won the 16 and 32 bit wars, without an actual 32 or CD based game system.

They survived the 64 bit wars onward, outliving Sega.

in my opinion the wind waker was the worst (least good) zelda ive played. not because of the graphics, but because of the world it was set in, though of course this is a matter of taste. However, I think everyone can agree on its poor replay value. I missed Hyrule ;(

@clankb2o5 No. Not at all. I beat this game 3 times. One of the biggest Zelda games with plenty of replay value and exploration. You were in Hyrule but it was a new vision. It was unique. That's the thing about Zelda. Each game comes out with some unique theme or feature to keep it fresh. If this is your worst Zelda game then you haven't played a lot of Zelda games.

Skyward Sword is a pretty good game. beats twilight. But never OOT. I believe SS is TP, WW, OOT and its own in a mix. Because the bird you get reminds you of the Boat in WW. and the head master's name is "Gaebora" :P. Also it has the same some what the same person as twilight.. and SS has some of its own portions of its own story. Still. cant compete on zelda games. They're all a classic.

@ceasedepression777 Skyward Sword IMO is one of the best Zelda games and it beats OOT. Don't get me wrong OOT is a brilliant game but I enjoyed TP and WW a lot more than OOT. A lot of people say OOT because of nostalgia or because they simply enjoyed it the most. But we all have opinions. Each Zelda game as somewhat different gameplay and style so people are going to like one better than the other. I guess we can all agree that Zelda is awesome.

A lot of people complained because of the cartoony style. I actually much rather this to the middle ground of TP and Wind waker with skyward sword. Also WW is so smooth to look at and so incredibly polished, you can tell they put in the effort with it and did not rush it one bit.
