lastly, to counter your point, there are no jobs in jacksonville. It's impossible to go anywhere without having a car. The downtown area is the most pathetic display of nightlife I have seen, and has even less clubs, bars, and music venues than before. FL ranks 48th in the nation for education, there is constant humidity, highest murder rate per capita in FL, and racism is still present (especially in more redneck areas like the westside and surrounding cities like starke).

Not enough jobs, virtually no music scene, and all the cool places and hang outs that do come up here usually have a short - lived existence. Nashville, TN is pretty sweet (played a show there w/one of my bands). I plan on moving back out west. I miss home.

Everything is spread so far apart, and the public transport is far from adequate, as you are screwed if you don't have a car or know someone who will give you a ride. Nice video. You still cannot go to the top of that building which is the officer's club. Even when we renovated this building in 06 you had to have special permission, but these aren't very tall buildings anyway. The prettiest skyline in the south has to be ATL, but JAX just doesn't come anywhere close.
