ok, i do all the steps exactly as you do, but when sony vegas starts it just goes to a project. (i did have it installed before, uninstalled it, and tried this for the updates)

and now when i try to start vegas, it starts the registration process, and then goes and opens vegas. with no option to update the program. help?
