It amazes me how strong Maus are. When mine was 5 months old, he could grab our other cat, a British short hair, who at the time was 14 or 15 pounds, and literally toss her on the ground. She's built up a ton of stamina where now she's the one tossing him around.
Indeed. Egyptian Mau cats are the fastest domestic cats on the planet. To this end, they have have a high power to weight ratio, which is why its quite normal to see a small Mau out-power a larger domestic cat. Of course, if you have an F1 Bengal or Savannah (due to the wild genes) then the Egyptian May might meet its match.
Oh yes, definitely. Spike runs back and forth around the house like crazy. I gotta say though, as active as they are, they shouldn't be around young children. Most people who I've spoken too, have said their Maus are affectionate biters. Mine certainly is!
Yes. In that video, the cats were young. They are about 3-4 months older now and the Bengal is larger and looking very masculine and large. The Egyptian Mau hasnt changed much - he is very lean and thin.
Ok so erm.. just PM me your adress and leave a key under the doormat.. I'll be around soon :P

Nice video. I have a Bengal and I'm getting her a sister here soon. I'm hoping to get a nice Cat tree for them soon as well.
Thanks for the video, beautiful cats.
