I think the bottle isn't made out of glass, you can hear the glas hitting the wooden table @ 0:02 but I think the sound is made with something different that he holds in his right hand (You can see that he moves something behind the bag).

He crushes the bottle by hitting it dont you hear the loud loud bang ? It is very possible to break a beer bottle with only a human hand . U just need to find the weak spot of it . When the bottle was crushed into little tiny pieces , you could easily crush the bag too , making it look like the bottle was gone :)

The bottle is made from very thin toffee (sugar), and when he smashes it with his hand the toffee just shatters. Then he screws it up (what didn't shatter). You can see when he throws the bag - it still has a little weight to it. At the very start when he taps it, you will notice that he doesn't tap it very hard - plus, you can hear that is is extremely thin.
