Hey Good Job dude. Thanks for going slow. These arent ancient sercets. The folks who know how to work the knife should show anyone that has an interest and take time to teach. Thanks.
I h ave a tip... there are gloves out there that are wire weaves. it will keep the knife from cutting you when practicing a new trick. Just search cut resistant glove.
@Roadsideimports I believe they're illegal to carry per Federal (USA) law -- but don't take my word on it. I know they're legally sold in Connecticut, but not legally carryable.
hey, roadsideimports, can you tell me how to do a simple trick wich you go from normal knife pose to backstab pose? just a simple one please...im still trainin'
Pacific Cutlery made butterfly knives in the 80's and then became Benchmade. The Pacific Cutlery knives were generally made in Japan and imported back to Oregon then things developed and Benchmade bought or reformed or some business move and the butterfly logo which was Pacific Cutlery's logo became used by Benchmade.
I got quite a few lesson videos that show you the techniques. They are all on my website under the Balisong Butterfly section and you'll see the instructional videos, got quite a few now.
It is listed at my website like it states in the video at AssistedKnife It is under the Balisong Butterfly category and is about the 3rd or 4th one down email me if you have any questions about it.
hey JB do u actually let the side of the blade touch ur fingers or r u supposed to stop it before it actually touches ur finger when flipping? I know theres only 1 edge but I know it gets confusing sometimes when flipping so u can end up getting cut. noticed u stop a couple times be4 it touches. 1 more thing wat kind do u reccomend if I was shjort on money but wanted a decent 1. Benchmade is tp quality but cheap ones fall apart 2 fast. u got anything 4 me?
I have one too but don't know how to do tricks on it I'm in california and Im scare too use and plus bought it for 150 bucks

can you carry butterfly knives in your pocket in kentucky?

You should call your local police and ask them the question, they might be wrong but at least you know what they enforce.

That is in this video, if you can't see how it is done you have to stop and pause and go back. It is easier with the DVD that is for sure.

Yes, the kit model. Built it, it has screw construction like the Benchmade, it gets to international locations easy because it is a kit form, JB>
