Thanks for posting this. One of my favorite songs. The drummer is a BEAST! Killer funk groove. Wore out the vinyl back in the day, playing along with my ol' 72 Strat and a Kay tube amp. Drove Mom and Dad crazy! Thanks, again!
@RoyFive dont get me wrong friend....ive always liked elvin bishop...he was in the line-up at the first concert i ever saw....but mickey was the much better singer of the two.....i think elvin was a much guitar player......but he does have a funky sound that i like !
Saw these guys in San Francisco in 72. Best live band I've ever seen. It was at some kind of Sea World kind of place. We were hitchhiking the west, were passing through and just got lucky.
yeah this cat and his band was truly some funky soulful muthas back in the day....I love his "So Good" wrap yours arms around me and put your soul into it.. its so good so good so doggod goood....smile..wish someone would post that one...I have the album somewhere...darn it..
So underrated. No one combined blues, country, rock, and funk like Elvin. Songs like this and "Let It Flow" make you feel good to be alive. Just kick ass, good time music.
@Tritan2095......... Love that Break This was one of my favorites..lord I forget stuff.I really dug this album Especially this tune. Thanks for this makes me feel good

One of his best. I'm glad Mickey joined Starship, though. I always felt he was trying to steal Elvin's thunder, but I could be wrong.

Thanks for posting this. I used to have the vinyl. I remember seeing them open for ZZ Top at the Omni in Atlanta around 1975.
