I've been listening to The Afghan Whigs for almost 20 years and they never get old! Twilight Singers and Gutter Twins rock as well.. Dulli is a musical genius!
Does every know how old this song is??? From the early '90s and on uptown avondale EP. The original version, Milz iz ded is on the album Congregation and I agree with the listener below that it is far superior. Gutter Twins rock!
This remix is by a Shawn Smith and Steve Fisk, the members of Pigeonhed (although I think the predates any Pigeonhed release).
If you like this then you could always give the Pigeonhed albums a try. I love them.
Another album to try that is a little similar in spirit is Brad's first album "Shame" which also features Shawn Smith on Vocals. I say its similar because they are both a little playful and a little haunting.
try the later whigs stuff (bulletproof, somethin hot, i have an early demo of them playin dark end of the street - doesn't sound anything LIKE this!! lol) then the twilight singers and the gutter twins...

Intro sounds a lot like the Stone Roses' "Fool's Gold".

Is this version on any specific UK album release?
First time I've heard a song by them I like. Would like to hear more - any recommendations?

funny enough, twilight singers are also featured in the Rescue Me soundtrack. Denis Leary's son has good taste!
