Surprisingly, to many history impaired individuals, most Union Generals and staff had slaves to serve them! William T. Sherman had many slaves that served him until well after the war was over and did not free them until late in 1865.
Last time I went by it was getting a little ragged. Is it to be replaced soon? We all may need to help out with donations. I am checking with the SCV on that.
From what I have heard the funding for the Flag of Spain is coming along Nicely Supposed to be as Large as this Flag. It will be going up by I-4 near Ybor city. I think its fantastic how Florida respects all of its heritage!

This, and the people, are why I love travelling to the southern States. Courage, Loyalty, Honor, Duty. Good for you. @hockandrock personally as someone who has a giant Florida Flag, several small Florida Flags and 2 Tattoos of Banana spiders with the Florida flag on their back on my shoulders, I would be offended if I seen the Florida Flag flying underneath the Confederate flag considering Florida's flag, or a version of it has been flown over Florida for over 200 years and the confederate flag Flew over this state 2 years. That's a slap in the face of Native Floridians like myself.
