I'm in the fourth group. I absolutely love Jacob. He's REAL. I agree with John Green's thoughts on the Edward vs. Jacob issue. (See his "Guys Love Giraffe Love" video.) I'm find with Edward, but I wouldn't want to be with him.

I'm starting to hope that Jacob does imprint on someone better. He can deserves better than Bella.

I hate Jacob too, I am the first type. Jacob really annoys me. Bella sometimes gets on my nerves because I think I can relate with her until she does something that I totally can't relate to. I hope Jacob imprints on someone else in the next book, and then Bella can turn into a vampire. :)

Edward's perfect. He has like no flaws and I hate that. He always goes on about how he's selfish about being with Bella. That's untrue because if he was selfish he would have killed her there n Biology. He's just 2 much.

I just prefer Jacobs character. He's more interesting and not so simple. Plus he's funny and for me funny is very important. I can't really remember a time in series Edward has been funny. Not sarcastic but funny.

You summed it up perfectly. I like Edward...but he's fake. He's too perfect. It actually bothers me at times. He's also controlling and that drives me crazy. I've seen relationships like that and I can't enjoy reading a teenage character with a boyfriend who tells her where and when she can do something. Jacob is closer to what I think that a teenager should be. I realize that Ed is only a teenager in a sense...but Bella is and she needs someone who's closer to her level.

Have children

Be with Jacob, who is absolutely adorable!

But Jacob hasn't imprinted on her, so they aren't meant for each other. But I still like the kid a lot!

I don't think it's as much that he lets her get hurt. He lets her make her own mistakes and be her own person. He understands that he can't always control her or she'll do something REALLY stupid, something he can't save her from. And, after all, he does save her several times. That's the important part. Edward tries to keep Bella locked away (with the best of intentions), but you just can't control people all the time. Edward is learning that.

Most of the time I fall into the first category but occasionally I drift towards side B (On these days I like to quote Bella "I am neutral. I am Switzerland"). Edward FTW!
