  • Who the fuck does David Shuster think he's kidding he sounds like a gat ass mouse on helium!! So fucking annoying

  • I can't stand her, so annoying

  • She has the voice of a WITCH, that is why everyone is offended and can't bear to listen to her speak!! SHUT UP Billary!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You can just tell that these two have the tiniest dicks in the media. They are both scared shitless of women.

  • Actually, I have always had a problem with the sound of Bush's voice. I simply cannot listen to him speak. My theory is that it is the sound of a psychopatological inhumanity striving, unsuccesfully, to sound as if it were humane. Get used ot it folks. The higher ranking the official, the lower the degree of personal humanity they will be able to sustain.

  • The republicans can beat hillary. They fear the day they would ever have to run against an opponent like Barack Obama who refuses to engage in their dirty partisan culture war games.

  • the media will make an issue out of a non issue to create an issue. repetition works. who gives a rat's ass about her voice?

  • shameful.

  • omg these are douchebags

  • part 2....Please get HRC some elocution lessons. Her debate skills are good, but her notorious nasality is grating. Women candidates have enough to work against, given the dinosaurs who like to call them "shrill", without HRC speaking in an abrasive manner. If she worked with a good voice coach, she could kick this bad habit for good.

    Sincerely, a NH voter

    I never heard back, except for pleas for $. I really was trying to be helpful. "Conversation with the American People", my ass..

  • Funny this should come up now...it's bothered me forever.

    Here's a letter I wrote to Hillary's people back when I was undecided (I'm 100% for Obama now):

    ~~~~~
    February 2007
    Dear HRC campaign:
    I'm not sold on Hillary for president, although my mind is open, at this point. I am a music teacher and have taught voice and drama for years.
    I do, however, have a plea for Hillary and her team:
    (see next post)
  • Why dont you back Joe Biden?
  • Because I'm backing Obama, that's why...
  • "I'm yer GIRL"
    hey HILL, you're no Shirley Temple and although Bill thinks's the Oval Office was the good ship lollypop, just one question alot of carpet munchers are askin: 'can I be your intern?'
  • Hillary's voice is grating on the American people..
    Hillary's face is grating on the American people.
    Hlllary's stance on giving amnesty to illegal immigrants is grating on the American people.
    It's a good thing that Jewish Israeli lobbyists have poured lots of money into her (and Barack's) campaign chest to play warm fuzzy music to lesson the "grating" that Hillary has on every American.
  • You're completely wrong.
    Every poll shows that immigration is an issue that the vast majority of Americans don't really give one shit about. Just because you're bigoted and see only in black&white, doesn't mean the rest of us are.
  • So we are expected to luxuriate in the golden timbre of Chris Matthews mellifluos voice instead, right?
  • HA!
  • I'd rather hear her voice than a southern accent
  • "Strong military, strong economy, strong families'
    At a time when the challenges we face as a nation are formidable, complex, divisive, political and dangerous, America needs a leader with energy, intellect, vision, charisma and experience.
    In his party's field of presidential candidates, Mitt Romney stands out as such an individual. Today we endorse Romney as the Republican we support in the Jan. 3 Iowa Caucuses.
  • Oh give me a break! Try reporting on something valid. Platforms, policies, historical political affliliations. Anything concrete. Music versus a voice over in a campaign ad is hardly news. If is Hardball news then the pitcher should be aiming at the batters head, and pitching in some heat.
  • "COPS BEAT ME" on Youtube. Mom gets the hell beat out of her by cops who break in her home without a warrant. Who will protect our rights of illegal search & seizure?
  • I cant stand Hillary but all these guys know are shallow attacks in hopes you will become shallow as them. Same thing the did with Ron Paul. They should fire this guy.
  • she does have a cackle that corkscrews right up your spine...
  • this is soooo funny and so true! hitlery rotten clinton not only is a shrill, unlikeable bitch, but sounds exactly like one as well. if it comes down to a race between Rudy and hillary, Rudy will beat her so badly that the Dummycrats will really look like fools
  • Hardball is of one of the worse cable news shows out there. Then again, that's like saying of that assault is really bad when someone's been murdered when compared to everything on FNC.
  • her laugh, or should i say cackle, is even worse.
  • I despise Hillary but this kind of crap really upsets me.
  • Isn't that what MLK said?
    "Judge a man not by the colour of his skin, but by the intonation of his voice."
  • bush/clinton/bush/clinton?
  • and maybe bush after. You never know if Jeb could be elected in your country, his brother wasn't.
  • Yes he was you ignorant liberal fool!! I'm so tired of hearing that kind of STUPID crap I could puke!!! People like you shouldn't even be allowed to speak or think!!
  • ..are you a christian?
  • What does that matter? Would that make me a Nazi as well?
  • because if you are, I direct you to the book of matthew anyone that calls someone you fool or 'raca' will answer to the lord.
  • because if you are, I direct you to the book of matthew anyone that calls someone you fool or 'raca' will answer to the lord.
  • I stand by my original reply...especially since you don't even live in this country! I bet you live in what, the UK?
  • where I'm from is irrelevant (not the UK) what happened in florida was a lot of missed votes and the judge was cosied up to the bush family.
  • What happened in Florida was the Democrats (Al Gore specifically) got caught in their own game and tried to pin it on Bush. Then they tried the "hanging chad" load of bull. Then the tried making them recount the votes five times. Finally the SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES stepped in and told Al Gore the game was up. Bush won fair and square, and the results in 2004 proved it. If you don't live here, why don't you just worry about your own country?
  • you sir are misinformed. their has already been a confession of tampering with the votes in the swing states.
  • No, sir, I'm sorry, but I'm not, and no, sir, there has not been any confession of tampering with votes EVER. You worry about your politics in your country, because it's very obvious you have NO idea of what goes on in ours!
  • So you know more than me because you watch.....international news.....but not.......national news....... Hmmm. That makes a lot of sense.
  • do you know who the prime minister of the UK is? or about the death of Benazir Bhutto and its implications? or the civil war in chechnya? wait wait wait... tell me who the prime minister of Canada is without the help of wikipedia if not your argument is prettywell refuted
  • You don't think CNN and Fox and ABC and NBC cover the assasination of Bhutto, or the new prime minister of the UK, or the civil war in Chechnya, and the fact that Putin wants to be the new premier of the old USSR? You are ignorant! If you knew half of what you think you know you might know something.
  • ...whos the pm of Canada though?
  • Harper....don't remember his first name. What is this? A first grade history test? Did you pass without cheating?
  • oh noes i haz been pwnd!
  • the engineer that created the software to manipulate the end result spoke at a court hearing about the ease and certainty of vote total manipulation in the 2004 election.
  • because unlike you apperently, I watch international news and not CNN or FOX news I know who Larry Craig was, I know that Mike Huckabee is leading the Republican polls and that Obama and Hillary are neck and neck for the Demo's I'm no liberal (or conservative for that matter) because I like to make my own political oppinions somethings im liberal about and somethings im conservative about it's one of the things that makes me human rather than a pundit
  • notScooter is a pundit
  • ...what? ...what?! what are you talking about I'm no liberal or conservative. Im making my own oppinions and don't take those of O'reilly Hannity Olbermann or Colmes! neither should you.
  • notscooter952
  • is a fool
  • dude why are you being so resentful? we have a difference of political oppinions.
  • because its not just a difference of political opinion. itd be one thing if you said something more like "boy that sure was disappointing bush won the 2000 and 2004 elections. i liked al gore and john kerry better." i wouldnt feel the same way, but youre entitled to your opinion. im just so tired of people accusing the GOP of stealing the 2000 election and saying bush didnt win or saying he bought the election when its flat out not true. thats unfounded, partisan, anti-republican, liberal bull.
  • what makes you so great that your opinion is better than his?? talk about arrogance..its called freedom of speech, so no matter if you disagree he can still say whatever the freak he wants.
  • He has a legal right to say whatever he wants. That doesn't mean I can't say what I want or that he's not full of feces (that's poop, for my Democrat friends). I can tell you or him or myself to shut up if I want to. It's called freedom of speech, remember? That applies to everyone...not just liberals and idiots -- wait...they're the same thing. (I can't wait to see the replies I get to this one!!)
  • Amazing punditry.
  • we are the people!
    we are the soluyion!
  • It's Matthews again explaining to us how important Clinton's timbre and pitch are as equally important as Dean's cheer. She fails his beerdrinking presidential test.
    Why is Shuster wasting his time with this blonde closet case?
  • i don't like hillary, but i couldn't care less about her voice. now that they mention it, it *is* kinda grating though, huh?
  • Who cares about her voice? I care about my freedom.
    It is the content, not the sound of her speeches that scare America.
  • Its sad that this person represents the first real shot at the presidency for women. She is a horrible,deceitful and cold hearted person She does a great disservice to women. ITS A SHAME BECAUSE THERE ARE A GREAT MANY MORE WOMEN IN THIS WORLD THAT ARE MORE DESERVING THAN HILLARY.
  • we had a woman prime minister, her name was Kim Campbell and I didn't much care for her economic policies but hey, I can say I've had a woman prime minister! :P
  • honestly who gives a crap about her voice, political issues are what concern me. At the same time her idea of creating federally mandated medical monopolies those are the things that concern me
  • this is bullying like... even if hillary had a GREAT platform she wouldn't get elected because these people propagate such a mean spirit towards her like... this is so uncredible towards these newscasters if someone on the CBC did this they'd be off the air in a second.
  • This is why I now what BBC America. It's still the news like it used to be in this country. This nit picking is getting on my nerves
  • yeah, I'm from Canada. We have about one political commentator well maybe two now that I think about it Don Newman and Rex Murphy. Neither of them talk about which party should win the election but rather, each party's policies election of new party leaders, when the next election will be and its intelligent too!
    anyway, peace buddy
  • You mean they just deliver the news right? Yeah that's how it used to be down here. Now their talking about voices, geez. Well I guess they have to fill up the air time somehow.
  • You're right about filling up the air time, but they want anything besides just air to fill it with. The head's at CNN, as elsewhere, see how well Fox has done with Methane and similar gases to fill that 'air time'. An added plus, it's much harder to see through, too!
  • Oh that's funny. Great way to put it
  • Hillary DOES have a shrill voice. I think she's modulating it better now than she did when she first started campaigning, but there's only so much a person can do in that regard. The second she tries to truly speak differently (ie when speaking in a black church), the media jumps on her. Regardless, the media should be concerned more with the content of her speaking, and not just what she sounds like.
  • I just tried to convince a person that the decline of support of terrorism, and the weakening of Al-Quaida, doesn't constitute a decline in terrorism. He didn't understand the difference.
    When with news like this, who can blame him. I really feel for the American people, it can't be much fun to be that stupid.
  • Well said. As an American, I couldn't agree more.
  • Her voice? Her voice? Are you freakin' kidding me? How about her policies straight out of the communist guidebook? How about her insincerity and carpetbagging?
  • it used to be funny and a little sad. now its just the latter magnified.
  • These people are retarded, turn them off.
  • Ron Paul has a high pitched nasally voice that can be annoying too. But I agree with him on foreign policy.
  • Let's hear it for the hard hitting national media getting to the important issues of the day.
