nobunaga always plays the bad guy in japanese games n movies,why is that,is it becoz he slaughtered buddhist monks n favor the christians that provide him wit musket rifles,he also was ahead of his time than other shoguns,if nobunaga were alive japan would av rule china,he would av made japan on same level as european powers,but mitsuhide fuck japan back 10yrs when he assasinate nobunaga,later shogun even drive out westerners,its was late 1800's that japan catch up to west by ousting shogunism.

erm..to be exact..Mitsuhide did reach the doorsteps of Nobunaga..but Mitsuhide in history wasn't the one who murdered Nobunaga. Nobunaga was said to be dead or died without reason before Mitsuhide even got there. It is said he committed the Samurai way of suicide in honor.

This is Samurai Warriors? really cool video. However, History tells us that Nobunaga died in Honoji temple by an ambush set by Mitsuhide Akechi. Mitsuhide, of course, survived and became shogun for around 13 days, time in which Hideyoshi Toyotomi/Hashiba killed him for betraying Nobunaga. Short after Hideyoshi became the new leader of the Oda xD.

He actually was killed by some robbers while he was escaping from the battle with hideyoshi. Pretty pitiful end for the man who managed to kill nobunaga.

Mitsuhide believed Nobunaga will rule all of Japan, it is just that he didn't agree with some of the ideas and tatics Nobunaga used. Nobunaga believed heaven favors him and although he did eliminate his greatest threat he did not feel good. With Mitsuhide gone there is no one worthy opponent for him. I know it's hard to understand, but it's ancient Japanese thing.

Nobunaga. His ending shows him and Mitsuhide fighting against each other at Honiji. Though they are equal in swordsmanship, Nobunaga gains the upper hand. They then both charge at one another, but Mitsuhide does not pull his sword out of his safe. He dies and Nobunaga cries, because he is sad that he had to kill his most worthy opponent and best friend. He then carries his body away from the Fires of Honiji Temple.
