  • Please send me a copy of plans to your antenna it will be much areal appreciated.

I really think your idea is real fine.

    tteufel@live.com

  • @koobb123 Please send me copy of your plans!

  • OR! Or. You could just pay 14.99 a month for Internet service, ya cheap bastid.

  • @SugaredTurkels come to Alaska its 120 a month...and thats with limited megabytes

  • Who really want's to live in Alaska? Only thing good in alaska is fishing and if you can't handle without internet, move to some other country (like sweden, germany, south korea, china, japan) where are fast internet connections with low price...

  • @Atecyh OMG!? why havent I thought of that. You sir are a genius.

  • @SugaredTurkels Not everyone has access to cheap internet ya ass!

  • buenisima pero funcionara veremos gracias de todos modos

  • Is anyway to get a set of plans for this antnna

  • @koobb123 If you typed a proper sentence you could get the plans but since you didn't, NO WAY!

  • can someone tellme if its really work ?

  • Long Range Wi-Fi Antenna ........cut n paiste on yt browser

  • How to make a fractal antenna for HDTV / DTV plus more on the cheap -------------cut n paiste to browser....

  • I am working on a fractal antennae..talk about unlimited potential......that is it!!!

  • My penis is a better antenna than this wannabe Star Trek hunk-o-junk....simple point-and-click in-her-face.....

  • are there step by step instructions for this somewhere?

  • @KironStrife best place for antenna's is dxzone dot com lot of different stuff for learing there..

the one with the copper wire squares is easier to do, and mounting it to a cheap old satelite dish will give you a crap load of gain. just bought a yagi from china for $11

damn thing puts out 25 dbi gain lol

    ebay is our friend ;-)

  • are there step by step instructions for this somewhere?

  • can you make me one smaller for a apt. window for a trade or cash ? e-mail me plse i'am in queens, ny . thanks ruffjustices@aol.com, mike

  • illegal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Instead of the supports, could I not just extend the coax cables to feed the wire biquads directly? Of course with some alternative mechanical support, like plastic bushings.

  • why pie is the best with lots of pepperoni cheeezze...it can reachly capture as far as 4000,000, miles kilohertz of ...of...uuur..ahhh..what am im saying????buuuuurp & fuuuuuurt

ooops too much hot sauce there hmmmmm so full.

  • Omg the second best comment JUST have 2 likes. I think i can beat him :D

  • screw driver works well.

  • I finally got that gryo meat out from between my teeth.

  • it is working or not plz tell me if it is not working then tell me a new idea on +91-9828130146 its my request friends

  • @me102288 Ya the WiFi police are a big problem now a days... lol smh

  • You smart muddafukas lol

  • Why do you stop at only 4 biquaads? I think five or more biquads would make it MORE POWERFULL! That stuff about connectors and all that... never use a coax! speaker wires just fine.

  • hmm, I should note a free antenna, or any wifi antenna does NOT mean free internet.

in the end run, using a persons wifi without permision is now a crime in the usa.. 3 to 5 years in prison and a fine..

So ask the person first, and/or don't get caught. lol.

  • it works in long range

  • @RisingStarL96A1 on a satelite dish yes, extremely long range

one record I recall is 145 kilometers with a biquad feed on a parabolic.

but that was Line of Sight connection

  • 20dbi gain yagi antenna, Hong Kong is selling them at dirt cheap prices on ebay (low as $4 with free shipping)

  • @Me102288 :.can u mention that site?

  • @chynani hmm they dont register as site, no store, just whole row of buy it now's

they went up to $11 free shipping, lowest I can get anywhere here is 16dbi for $120 !!!

anyway I'd figure since asian made the yagi,

goto Ebay and type( wifi yagi 25dbi )Select buy it now and worldwide search, should appear first on the list.

Have fun, I use paypal, works awesome for ebay (lot faster to buy/pay)

I'm going to try 25dbi yagi center on a 6 foot satelite dish muaaahaha, 25+ ? dbi

  • @Me102288 do u get free internet cnnctn?

  • @chynani not yet, havent ordered the stuff yet, got the pole and what not ready, this summer I'll be lining itup for the free wifi hotspot about 4.5 miles away.

figure the AWUS036H and that 25dbi antenna at 1000 miliamp should reack just over 7 miles... should be good

Hope so, since all I got is 1Mbit dsl, absolutely nothing else available :-\

  • how can you promote a video with no list of materials used in the project.

  • @ICproductions2020 google dxzone look at all the antenna designs for wifi

this one is similar to a panel antenna with a Bi-Quad or Double Bi-Quad typically used for point to point wifi (rubby ducky = point to everywhere)

a panel antenna like this could have a bunch more gain with a satelite dish, just replace the thing on the arm with this panel antenna, Probably get very long range.

  • @Me102288 Thanks I hooked up everything to my old satellite dish, working like a charm nice range no interruptions.

  • @ICproductions2020 wait can someone tell me how to get this and set up materials and what not

  • @ICproductions2020 Simple,like that

  • fucking down

  • and it never workt

  • @De22Lano it's very difficult to build antennas that combine different elements, I have made some antennas for the 3G frequency (for tongle modems), they work better than cheap Chinese boosters, but to make them right you have to take into account soldering techniques and the length of the coax cable, actual cable lengths

must be = (velocity factor of specific coax you use) x (electrical length), then it works perfectly!

  • @VERGIS92 1.2mm to 1.6mm thick copper wire.. to minus all the technically blah blah. lol

easier one is a biquad, same kinda design minus the element looks like 2 sqaures.

just google "diy wifi biquad" and you'll find a lot of info

  • @De22Lano if for example you see on a diagram that X cable length must be 5cm,

and you use a COAX type with velocity factor 0.63, then the ACTUAL cable that you have to cut must be 0.63*5=3.15cm! and that is measuring on the outer conductor length! Plus you need to strip both inner and outer as short as possible. Make any of these wrong and the antenna will not work

  • CRAP AND STUPID TUTORIAL!!!!

  • Useless video....

  • hermano creo q un tutorial seria mejor

  • @yver155 Y ESTA MIELDA DE VIDEO, VA A QUEMAR LA CASA EN FUEGO. ha ha ha..

  • So can I hook it up to my Pc?

  • Just wondering, where as you can recieve, can you transmit as well with this ??

I'm not a pro just asking for info ..

  • another question the 4 biquad peices solds in the center of the coaxial cable and in the backplane?

  • I GUYS the biquad wire , solder in the wire of the midle only?

  • I must have this!

  • i just want to cover my whole house not a fucking naborhood...

  • How are you tying that into the laptop that has wireless built into it?

  • yo.... do u think maybe u could elaborate a bit on where to get the stuff, how to assemble certain pieces, and maybe talk about in the video? plz

  • Hi I live in the Netherlands and you've got wifi range

  • @TrevorD21ROBLOX it not meant for a router dumbass. It's for pentesting networks and hacking.

  • can this work underwater :S

if not can you tell me whats best for 2 mile or above range? :)

  • cool

  • This antenna enable us to catch wifi signal from 2 miles .How ?

it boost the emiting power of wifi router or help to catch wifi signal from any usb wifi

  • Whoa, Im way in over my head here..i'll just be leaving now..

  • use the fractal snowflake to decrease size and increase efficacy!

  • This design is so old from back in the "war driving" days. I like how you quadrupled the antenna. thats different.

  • Does this work for IOS devices?

  • I use that metal plate from the old xbox 360 case as an antenna. It works just as good.

  • this antenna will look great. i will bring it with me to the airport

  • well you make one and seal it to me couse im a retard at this stuff lol.

  • @2112deadsky Apparently you're a retard at spelling too.

  • Wow Engineering PLan

  • Just think about how much time and energy you could save if you etch this onto a PC board and suspend above an unetched board.

    . . . .

  • @MohamedArslanPK plz translate into urdu with meaning

  • @thefaizan33 that antenna is not technically correct. 5 time soldering will loss 8dbm power out of 20dbm total. (in urdu; ye antenna drawing ke lahaz se theak nahi ha 5 dafa wire ko soldering kernay se nearly 32% signal loss ho jayn gay)

  • If you're too lazy to build a wifi antenna, just buy one. Speaking of, UPS is driving up my driveway with two more NanoBridgeM2's.

  • HOW CAN I CONNECT THIS PORTABLE ANTENNA IN LOPTOP,

  • antena sutien wiiii

  • Want the best customer rated hdtv digital antenna ?

  • ok i see how u make this but how do u go from a cable to usb? useing it on a desk top? is my next question an what kind of progarm do u have to have inorder to use this? a wifi radar??? i would like to know thanks

  • lan party of 12 people yay

  • pretty cool but I wish some one would cover how to hook the rf cable into the network cable properly??????

  • this true dude or fake.....?

  • fuckin dum ass

  • yes i did it i made it ,it took me 6hours to do it but, there is a problem the wifi stops some times ( signal breakes )

  • sup man any links in where u get the materials from or can u put it in the discription a list of materials !!! please? thank you

  • what type of metal is the big square part?

  • @lookkool3 i think it's just plain sheet metal (iron or steel i think)

  • What to use instead that vertical supports? I can't find that anywhere.. :/

  • What range this antena can support?

  • I like it, where do you get the plans to make one ?

  • I glad there are some have way educated folks around. The last time I made an ant. was over 17 years ago.

  • That moved way too quick! I had three seizures while watching it!

  • I would like to know more about about how to build this. Is there anywhere I can get more datailed directions?

  • you got talent

  • videocruser1... It's not illegal to have, or to build an antenna.

LAMONTDAVIS3, it's simple in fact. 3.1cm (the length of each angle in the biquad) is a quarter wave, of the originale 12.4cm wavelength for 2.4GHz. Easy to calculate: (C/RA)/2400MHz. (C=speed of light, RA=refractive index of air), the backplate, is a basic reflectorplate, best to use copper. It's a much bigger amount of electrons within the copper, & i recomend to use 25*26cm plate: 2* <- wavelength

  • @jarlholta it's only illegal if you get on some radio stations that are used by police or any music station or whatever......

  • @MAnGaThaBOy: True indeed. But just to be clear... Any normal radiostation is lowfrequency. Eg 50-600MHz... And the once that are used by the police licensed for the police/hostpital end so on. The 2.4GHz WiFi is unlicensed. Which means that its free to use, develop and sell equipment for it.

  • @hussanmid bro, you must have some brain problems. were you with hitler? just because America has the worlds largest fleet of aircraft carriers. The worlds largest economy, and has done more change for the world(in terms of inventions) than any other nation, does not mean that you have to hate on it. America invented the internet concept. America invented (at lease in concept) about 40% of every modern device that you use. light bulbs... cheap steel(made sky scrapers possible) and the MAC!

  • @warjak100 sorry to say this dude but i think japan has us beat in the ways of inventions.

  • @hussanmid And this is related to the video how?

  • @videocruser1 no its not. it is not illegal to make an antenna. if you have a router at the other end of your house you could use this...it is cheaper than a Wi-Fi Range Enhancer. It just depends what you use it for.

  • I'D LIKE TO SEE THIS WORK

  • No te Pierdas

Busca Smartfi.com.mx Eso Si Es WIFI De Verdad

  • Less the metal more the signal..add carbon! you will be surprised .

  • pls need tutorial or email thanks

  • hi please need tutorial lessons or email thanks.

  • hey nice useless chopper in 0:23

  • I actually have a massive parabolic dish, that was left on the house I am currently renting. How can I use it to blast wi-fi?

  • Do you think you could ever make a tutorial video on this? Because I have no Idead how to go about doing it, but I can fallow directions. haha Thanks!

    Destin.

  • I guess if he doesn't make it that accurate... he would only loose 0.5% of performance

  • Great video.

I have made a few of those antennas in the past and they work quit well.

  • No, there, this thing does not connect you through the internet. This thing will connect your WiFi receiver to a WiFi spot 2 miles away.

  • @vishva8kumara What is a "WiFi receiver"?

  • I was wondering how someone (excuse me if this is the wrong term) *gateways* into the worldwide web as their own server. How do you connect to it if you make it yourself? are you esentially creating a receiver for an existing hotspot zone or are you becoming your own server. I guess even servers connect to a hotspot themselves but how does one connect into it independently? It's kind of confusing. And does a fee have to be payed of some type to your Government?

  • @crustyeyegoop Wha? *scratches head in utter confusion*

  • @purpleravenstar HOW DOES AN AVERAGE PERSON PIPELINE INTO THE WORLD WIDE WEB WITHOUT PAYING AN ISP TO DO SO? still scratching :/

  • @crustyeyegoop Get a Linksys router that can accept DD-WRT, set it to Universal WLAN Repeater mode and find an unsecured SSID. Connect to it and use "their" Internet services with gusto.

Other than that, go learn some WLAN wardriving skills.

  • @purpleravenstar I know about drivebye networking or wardriving. I dont need to do that. I'm asking how does one create their own ISP. I thought that is what this was about. Not finding someone to pipe into and have them rape my HDD while I was stupid enough to be lured into their net (pun intended) like a wayward fish with no direction. Go be a reptilian somehwharr else

  • @crustyeyegoop simplistic view but.. The internet is just a collection of interconnecting networks. An ISP connects your device (wifi router, PC, mobile phone) to there own network. The ISP's network is connected via "peering" to datacenters(DC) and other ISP's. There are peering providers they connect ISP's and DC's together. DC's are places where company's "host" there servers that serve websites.

If you want to avoid ISP's just put your pc in a DC or get a leased line from you home to a DC.

  • @MsNubble OK thank you. That makes more sense now. like how Wildcat or WWIV dial ups would connect to save toll calls in the older days? It was a matter of finding enough data-centers or servers to be created to just basically connect to one another creating almost a black widow like web going all over the damn place? (In simple terms I guess). I'm sorry if I'm not network knowledgeable on most peoples level who troll obvious or twist obviousness to them for laughs.

  • @crustyeyegoop Yup that's why its called it the Word Wide Web. + you you will probably find most trollers don't actually know how 'it' (or anything) works any way that's why they troll. they say "blar blar blar learn to spell" I say "blar blar blar, learn how not to be an a hole" =)

  • can you make a video tutorial on how to make this?

  • This whole thing won't work.... To much flat area for signal to bounce....over all this one sucks....personally I give it two thumbs down

  • @robertk8703 the "flat areas" is a ground plane acting as a mirror, virtually creating 4 ghost antennas.

Look up the lambda/4 antenna to see how this works. In this case (double quad antenna) it is used to enhance the directivity of the antenna.

What can limit the efficiency however is the soldering links and power splitting of the antenna.

  • Who else thought it was a flux capacitor?

  • video should be complete so a lay man person can also implement this

  • I saw this dish shoot wifi 30 miles, no kidding.

  • fake mother fucker

  • I have a yagi

  • Hello, is that Ubiquiti Bullet connected with antenna, if it is, how strong (mW)??

    I have Bullet 2.4 GHz 100mW

  • my question is, is aluminium foil in the board?

  • 0.26 - pissed off antenna

  • @FFS1NICO :< That's the face I saw it making. So for me, 0:26 = antenna :(

  • Interesting idea, do you have an 4necc2 file worked up? NEC2: .nec2 dot org/ < software most antenna people use.

If you have please post the .nec file, would love to see it.

  • Better off TIG welding the metal componants together. Filler rod & a cheap TIG set will be good enough, plus some argon.

  • This tutorial is like a BOOK ON HOW TO READ O.o

  • If I figure this out the 2 B pieces 58 cm have to be that length to transfer impedance but the 4 pieces A 77cm just have to all be the same length. the dual square ant is 50 ohms isn't it. I was thinking of cramming it in a 4 inch tin can. no matching harness.

  • i'll be better how to do that with sound

  • @TheDiddlysquat You've got to be kidding me. A focused directional antenna vs a dipole for distance? I beg to differ about the "constant moving around" as well. My long-distance tests worked just fine for the two weeks I had it set up.
