@KARLish33 Mike Coe didn't stop ATC racing in 1984. And yes, this was the last year of the Airfooler being produced by Honda - but - a lot of non factory racers continued to use their well tuned Foolers well into 85. Some for money reasons and others just went with a 'if it aint broke ..' way of thinking. By 1986 pretty much everyone had converted over though.
Honda was experimenting with watercooled technology at this point. Visit airfoolers website for more info and pics of these early prototype water cooled heads.
@kxlover26, Not true. Starting at 13 seconds you'll see number 3 Marty Hart on a custom watercooled Team Honda 250r. Radiator on the forks. As far as Tecates, beside Jimmy White I think there's only one other in the pack. It was pretty early, and lots of the riders are still on their first generation Rs. I see a custom Suzuki (Eddie Sanders) and a KTM-powered thing too.
Coe was the greatest. At the very end is a half second of Wax (I believe) doing an interview. There must be more! Please share! Hart is riding a watercooled 250R. The radiator is mounted on the forks.
Those aren't anywhere near as unstable as im told... I'm so buying one!!! Lol
