  • I love this, except I think Michael Fassbender would make an amazing Lan...just saying.

  • I like a few of these, though I think faile has to be asian, it says she has slanted eyes. Maybe Kristen Kreuk, who is just a little asian. Love Moiraine and Elaine, even Min.

  • and where will I find the money to hire these actors ;~:

  • perrin mat and rand are hot! glad none of the ones listed were from twilight series! edward is so ugly!

  • The only thing in common between Perrin and Ryan Reynolds is the beard in the last pic. And why the hell is Faile asian?

  • so who would portray Migraine and Annoya

  • @tecdessus Hmmm... I dunno, I was never much of a Terry Goodkind fan, personally.. LOL... Yes, in case you are confused, that was a joke.. Ha ha ha ha ha.. ^_^

  • @aerosmith47 :))

  • i think they all are represented very well. we all have in our minds what they may look like. i am glad someone did something like this. RIP RJ

  • i Don't agree with Faile, Elayne, or Matrim, but that said of course, this is subject to opinion, and you know what they say about Opinions.

  • @instinctz1 yeah i thought that faile shouldn't be asian.....perhaps ashley green?

  • Sam Elliot is fucking perfect for Thom! I pretty much agree with you except for Faile, I don't think she is meant to be that beautiful. I was thinking a female version of Adrien Brody if that exists.

  • James Franco as Matt? Yes, yes and yes. To add to what has been said about the books being too long, needing to be split and all that...one must consider that RJ paid huge attention to detail. Tapestry, clothing, jewelry...every scene is fully illustrated. He left barely a thing to the imagination, which would be a set designer's dream. If you strip the books down to purely plot, there's be a real chance of converting them to film. I sincerely hope this happens someday...in the hands of a very

  • No name actors will make this movie gold. IMO

  • this was a pretty terrible casting IMO. Natalie Portman as Nyaneve? Ryan Reynolds as anyone in any movie?!? holy crap. the only one i liked was James Franco as Matt. but even he is too old. remember the movie is going to start when they are all young so they will do what every other movie like this has ever done and get up and coming actors most people has never heard of for most of the cast. and where did you get those pics of Scarlett Johansen? i didnt even recognize they're so bad.

  • Lets be honest most likely this is not going to become a full blown movie. The books are hard to keep up with so imagine what would happen if this became a movie. Each book would probably need to be split into two parts or more just so that they didn't have to take out huge chunks of it to fit it into less then 2 hrs.

My bet would be on a TV series. One book per season. Yes it would suck waiting 10 years or more to finish everything but with a series this epic is the safest bet.

  • Michelle Pfieffer's horse was boarded at my parents farm at one point. It was worth over 100,000. Ain't much in the world of expensive horses but oh well it was still her personal horse.

  • Okay, so russell Crowe is the perfect person to play Lan, and Kiera knightly is a good choice for Aviendha, but in addition to being muscular and fit, aviendha is supposed to have breasts, and decently large ones at that...

  • As a purely visual and hypothetical representation of what the characters look like, this was really good. I didn't agree with all your choices, but some of them took my breath away, they were so spot on!

  • You do realize that when TWOT begins, the main characters are teenagers...

  • I agree with most of the actors, actually it would be hard to find bether ones, but I cannot accept russel crowe as lan and neither natalie as nynaeve, i would change her with scarlet for the role of egwene. and i somehow object the actor for gawyn and rand, i would rather take hayden for the role of gawyn, but rand is a hard one, I will have to think on his role

  • And the US military can be the Trollocs with CIA as the Fades lol

  • hell if you guys wanna complain about the characters why not just have the whole movie done like avatar?

  • as you say looking at this as merely a VISUAL guide rather than one based on acting skills (or budget), this is a reeeaally good interpretation, not only in the choice of individual characters faces but also in the way you can potentially see characters interacting with one another. there were a few that i would swap such as egwene and nynaeve and maybe perrin could be a little musclier but overall really good. thanks for the video

  • I just object to Russel Crow as Lan.

And I always pictured Michelle Pfeiffer as Moiraina, or at least one of AS.

    Min is perfect.

For a brief moment I was like... what the hell Hermione is doing here? but on second thought she would be great as Elayne

Nice job you did here. In total, I really like it.

  • yah hayden ugh.. and Sam elliot as Thom I don't like that.. Crowe as Lan nope.. he's too FAT!

  • i could see crowe as lan, and cook as suian (after stilling) but aside from those... bad

  • Liam Neeson as Tam al'Thor... anyone agree?

  • Not bad at all. But no way would universal spend all that money to have that many super famous celebrity's in one movie.

  • Good cast, visually those are very accurate.

Unfortunately, WoT cannot become a series like the GoT. Too many characters and too many books. Also, most of them don't die so you have trouble with age...

Anime would also be bad. The visual world of Anime type of production and characters doesn't fir with the theme of WoT.

I think the only chance is to have 3D animation like Dragon Age Origins Sacred Ashes: iFrHRaH0Os

Push it as "new technology" and maybe cartoon haters will take it.

  • @TriMiro8107 whats GoT m8?

  • @dorielparkes: Game of Thrones. It is an HBO series (so far 10 one hour episodes) by the fantasy books "A song of Ice and Fire". Look it up, if you like fantasy you will like GoT.

  • ryan reynolds shud be mat cauthon ^^ that's the perfect interpretation lol xD

  • all were good i would have to think someone else for the role of lan...........and maybe someone more stout for perrin..........cuz that actor is a comedian........never seen him take a serious role....................everything else were on point..........

  • all were good i would have to think someone else for the role of lan...........and maybe someone more stout for perrin..........cuz that actor is a comedian........never seen him take a serious role....................

  • first off...there is no WAY this series is gonna be made into a series of movies. there's just too much detail and thought process that is of high importance to the books to make a good series of movies. the best way i think would be to make a 3D animated TV series with one season per book, as most people have said. BUT. i think we should hold off until we can figure out a way to properly integrate the immense detail that is Jordan's trademark AND make 3D animation even more realistic.

  • @speedcrazy94 Then how come Universal has the rights to make one?

  • @Temaile make a movie or a TV series? selling the rights is the best way to make money...

  • Sam Elliot was always a first choice for me for Thom. I think Liam Neeson would be a good choice for Lan.

  • I have to put a vote in to have Hugh Jackman as Lan. When I'm reading the books, I always picture him in that role. And someone with more aggressive attitude has to play Nynaeve.

  • The only one I had trouble with was Hayden Christensen as Rand. No, no, no, no, no, no, a thousand times Nooooooooooooooo!!!

  • Natalie portman as Nynaeve? When did she ever play the frustrated, braid tugging type?

  • Our opinions differ drastically, apparently (Avienda and Galad, as the two most drastic) but I like the effort.

    And the music.

You are aware, though, that when it comes to the Wheel of Time... it's just not meant for film.

It would take inconceivable resources, to make a film with the same scope. In all honesty, it's not a big enough fanbase for how much it'll cost.

But awe-inspiring to even think about.

  • Lan is too old in here

  • If the series is translated into film, it would take about 20 films to satisfy the fans...nearly 20 years...or else it turns into Harry Potter

  • normally after seeing some of these i find myself disagreeing but so far the only suggestions id make are switch egwene and nynave and perhaps someone slightly different for lan....good job. as for emma watson as elayne thats not a bad choice considering her and egwene are both barely legal when the series starts so really a younger actress would fit better imho

  • If a movie ever gets made in 5-10 years from now these actors will be sad choices as they will be OLD. Any cast for that film will be a bunch of virtual unknowns like in LoTR. A lot of those actors are now known for their earlier bodies of work.

Each book would entail 3 movies - might as well start with New Spring.

  • great pick for thom merrilyn. at first i thought the guy who did gandalf would work but your pick looks perfect.

  • the only one I don't think was how I imagined it is Avianda. She seems too dark of hair and skin. I pictured more of a red head.

oh and Lan is supposed to be kind of ugly. Russle Crow is WAY to hot to be him. LOL :) I've actually sorda pictured a younger Arnold Schwartzenegger or Selvester Stalone as Lan.

I loved your choices for all the other women, though. :) oh and the Tracand brothers. yum

  • the only one I don't think was how I imagined it is Avianda. She seems too dark of hair and skin. I pictured more of a red head.

  • most of them are good. I wouldn't cast emma watson as...inface the three girls, elayne egwene and nynaeve don't fit in my opinion. the guy is perfect for Thom. Matrim i would look at more Justin Bartha style to me. Faile i reckon is good. and Birgitte could be really good. The actor for Perrin needs to be broader. Also Russel crowe is too short for rand and has the wrong features.

  • most of them are good. I wouldn't cast emma watson as...inface the three girls, elayne egwene and nynaeve don't fit in my opinion. the guy is perfect for Thom. • I don't like the choices about Rand and Faile

  • I think that if he were still here, Heath Ledger would have been a brilliant Rand. Some of these are good but some are awful. Fair play though.

  • I agree with most but no way could he play rand. Or russel crowe as lan

  • scarlett johansen ryan teynolds and anakin poor choices for principles. the rest were good. great in some cases

  • INstead of a movie.....They should have a live action tv Series for the Wheel of Time......With shows like the Seeker and Spartacus Blood and Sand, I can see a WOT show being popular even with people who do not know the books.

  • I would put Claudia Black as Faile. She looks so much more like what the illustrations of Faile are.

  • dude i think with the possible exception of one or two maybe not even two, you hit the nail on the head with every single one of these characters!!!!!!!!!!!! i know ur not a caster for the possible movie but you should be!!!!!!!!!!! please!

  • For some reason I can't help but imagine Uno's VA as the guy who does Zaeed in Mass Effect 2.

  • oh c'mon.

    natalite portman = egwene

  • Okay I know this is a fan interpretation and not an actual casting vid. Great job,I'd like to see a real casting vid from you for this series. Mainly because I'd like to see who you'd actually pick for Rand Mat and Perrin. They were the only ones I had major issue with, mainly because if Mr. Christiansen gets another movie part I may kill him. lol

  • seeing as so many think that I am actually trying to cast the people for the movie, i may just make new videos with an actual REAL attempt at casting each and every one... i stated before these were merely a VISUAL INTERPRETATION, not a movie casting, but it seems to go right over many peoples' heads... sigh... so, the wheel weaves as the wheel wills.. time to get to work on some new videos, yes? make the whiners who can not read happy, yes? ..i'll be back in a month or so with the new videos...

  • @aerosmith47

Honestly, i can see a lot of those. I'd kick something if they cast Haydon Christianson as Rand, though. And Russel Crowe is too old and fat to play Lan.

  • @aerosmith47 quite possibly the best fan casting i've ever seen...I particularly liked Verin and Cadsuane...the only one i didnt agree 100% on is Min...I've always thought she would be best depicted by Shannon Doherty. Although i suppose she's no longer age appropriate...

  • The only way this could even possibly work is if instead of movies, it was made as a series of animated movies. They could keep awesome effects without going over budget and they wouldn't have to worry about characters growing old before it's finished. Also, instead of movies it should be made for tv. Each book could be a mini-series.

  • @TekelBrighteyes

unfortunately the American movie crowd frowns upon animated productions... Manga has a bad name, or is taboo for many, and most see animated movies or even shows as something only for their children... so i really don't think that would work either, with the fact of slavery, sexuality, and not to mention the death and destruction.... possible, but as it alienates a good amount of the potential crowd, no studio would back that much money loss... their too greedy for that. LOL..

  • @aerosmith47 All good but caffrey as matt would be super cool, never thought of that. Still want to be byar though i was born to be him, so perrin would have to be pretty big, biggger than those wee chickens.

  • @TekelBrighteyes love the series idea. I think it'd make a great tv series. one season for each book. a mini series would be too short to show all nuances of each story within each book and nuances of each character.

  • @TekelBrighteyes I agree, they should do it like the game of thrones.

  • please, never become a producer. for the good of all movies, do not become a producer.

  • @cotton1983

please, never get a job that involves reading anything fully, or needs a decent amount of attention to detail.... i stated in the description that this is NOT an actual CASTING... sigh... just two FANS' OWN PERSONAL INTERPRETATION OF WHAT THE CHARACTERS LOOK LIKE IN THEIR HEADS'.... like many people today, you should really read things more thoroughly before giving a biased, ignorant, condescending comment and sticking your foot in your mouth past the kneecap...

  • @aerosmith47

    yep that's kinda right :D

those are also the people who do not understand a word in the books, and just start throwing around their "knowledge" because they "read" it. to me I think a lot of people look at the letters, but cannot see the words, or even a sentance.

  • @cotton1983 or a casting agent haha!

  • Far to complex an epic for cinema. :( would be the longest and greatest movie of all time though, for us fans anyway. attention spans are far too lacking to sit through a movie like this.

I just cant wait for book 14. Already read 13 twice and loved it.

  • I agree most of them are way too old, but this video made me laugh so much due to the fact I pictured the characters the same, or roughly similair. Thanks. Perrin made me laugh.

  • My biggest problem with almost all of these picks is that they're WAY too old.

  • Scarlet Johansson as Egwene? No. Light, no.

  • Not Hayden Christensen. Please.

  • kiera knightly as aviendha is a fantastic match up, fingers crossed haha

  • Comment removed

  • John Cena would make an exceptional Perrin in my opinion

  • emma watson would ruin Elayne

Russel Crowe is too old and fat for Lan.

    Hayden Christensen? - Pass.

    Egwene, Nynaeve, Aviendha - Meh.

    Everyone else - perfect.

  • I agree with all of these except for Faile. I didn't picture her as Asian and if you look in the background book for the World of The Wheel Of Time they have a art picture of Faile. Granted she has the dark hair, but she looks more Irish set with a larger nose and more masculine jaw set. But I liked who you chose for the rest of the cast. I'm iffy about Kiera Knightley, but beggars can't be choosers.

  • @DatWolfDude88 they said she has tilted eyes, shes chinese. read the goddamn books

  • @MrReaganlover123 I have read the books and I have a book called The World of Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time. And in there they have a portrait of Faile and she doesn't look asian at all. And sorry, but just having tilted eyes does not make you asian. That's like saying if you have blond hair you must be German. I don't disagree that she may have traits, but Asian women don't have a large set nose like she's described to have in the book. Try again before you insult someone.

  • @DatWolfDude88 im sorry if you took that as an insult(warm-blooded) but in towers of midnight shes described to have had a small nose, with tilted eyes, with dark hair, all of which are prominent traits in a modern asian woman which just gave me the impression that she was asian(or has asian blood)

  • @MrReaganlover123 We don't have Towers of Midnight here in America yet. But in the first book that she's introduced which I believe is The Dragon Reborn, she's described as having a larger set nose. Also like to point out that Robert himself did The Dragon Reborn and Sanderson co-authored Towers of Midnight. So I'll be going by Robert's description.

  • @DatWolfDude88 i live in america, we have had towers of midnight for months

  • @DatWolfDude88 by warm-blooded i ment me being hot-tempered

  • quite like Orlando as Galad but Emma Watson not pretty enough for Elayne, though they were not good shots of her. I did look at this last year and have now started re reading it. On that basis it worked better thsi time. Last year I didn't know who Ryan Reynolds was but I do now!

  • emma watson is elayne

  • This cast would be expensive lol

  • Moiraine Damodred = Perfect!

    Egwene Al'Vere = Epic Fail!

    Aviendha = Perfect!

Elayne = A couple of tints of red and its passable.

Min = Leaning towards Probably not

Perrin = I hate to ask but how can I get abs like that?

Mat = Last pic makes him look like a rapscallion - Perfect!

    Rand = Definetly

Give awesome special effects (not like the ones in the last airbender) and I'm sold.

  • Sam Elliot as Thom is perfect. Not feelin' Russell Crow as Lan though. I think James Franco would do a great job as the Prince of Ravens.

  • your siuan is insane mate.nice one

  • ok, lets get one thing straight. i completely agree with everyone about the fact that none of the characters for this movie (if it is even in pre production) should be famous, the problem with that being this: directors need famous actors that have experience in huge productions such as lord of the rings or the newer star wars series, the ones that have experience interacting with cgi that aren't actually there until put on screen. itll be 2015 before this thing maybe releases a teaser trailer

  • Wow, some of these are way off in my opinion, there are aboubt two I'd agree with. :/ I think they need to cast most (if not all) new faces as the main characters. Throw some legendary actors in their as some of the Forsaken or something for balance. All I know is if they screw up this film, I'm going to be irate.

  • I don't know about Hayden C as Rand al'Thor. I can think of other young leading men I'd rather see play Rand. If Brad Pitt were younger he would have been a better choice. Maybe Garrett Hedlund, who's a kind of newer face. He has a rustic innocence about him.

  • I swear if ever there is a movie to this series i may just give up on life. Why do people assume everything ever written can be made into a movie?

  • @Neverborn86 I kinda agree with you, I think it would be technically impossible to make it into a movie. It would be wonderful if they could but I don't see it happening. It is nice to speculate though. It might work if they animated it, but I think too much would be lost in translation.

  • @ashleystilleto I think in order for them to make it into a movie, the story is going to have to be seriously streamlined down into to something that will just end up disappointing fans of the books. There's just too many characters and plots involved for any movie to do it justice, so why not just leave it alone?

  • @Neverborn86 Yeah, the books are so awesome that sometimes it's easy to get carried away. Sometimes when I read them I'll dream about them for weeks afterwards. It's such an amazingly rich world. The more I think about it, the more I do realize that nothing could do Mr. Jordan's work justice.

  • @ashleystilleto Plus, you just know that when people hear the Aiel use the expression "I see you" they're gonna think "hey, they stole that from Avatar."

  • @Neverborn86 OH Yeah, I certainly know that. I was excited when the Last Airbender was coming out because I was a huge fan of the cartoon series and my kids love it, but as soon as I said Avatar, everybody was like "Didn't they steal that from the James Cameron movie?" Yeah, I would probably go ballistic if someone tried to tell me Robert Jordan stole anything from Avatar.

  • interesting. But, I see kate Hudson as Elayne. Ryan Reynolds would better as Rand, and Russell Crowe would be better as Gareth Bryne. IMHO.

  • Hayden Christensen is the worst actor in the world.

  • Dj qualls should be Perrin, not that stick bug Ryan Reynolds...obviously, i;m joking.

  • Sorry natxavier, some people won't settle for that. Too bad for aging, man if they actually could translate it to film, which I highly doubt would keep the integrity of the story, it would kick ass! For the Light!

  • Dear god, don't ruin this wonderful series with Hayden Christensen.

Either way, there's no way this could be made into a movie series without ruining the integrity of the story. People would age too much before the undertaking was finished. There are so many unspoken parts of the plot - such as the complexity of weaves and how they interact - that would be very difficult to translate into film.

Let's just enjoy this fantasy series for what it is.

  • @natxavier The movie for (I assume) Eye of the World is in pre-production

  • Hayden would make a good Rand I'm just scared the whole time the audiance watched the movie theyed have Star Wars going threw their heads since the charecter's are alike in some ways.

  • Light! God forbid filmmakers get the idea of choosing Scarlett Johansson and Orlando Bloom for the movie... the horror...

  • To the moron who posted this. Please wash your mouth out with a revolver

  • Orlando Bloom as Galad? Emma Watson as Elayne? Some of these are just plain bad...

  • @DanceTheSpears I wouldn't have a problem so much with Emma as Elayne, but I couldn't agree more. Orlando Bloom would not be a good Galad.

  • havent u read the books? you want egwene to be played by someone who looks older than nynaeve, and ALOT older than elayne? :s swap roles for the nynaeve and egwene chars, and ditch emma watson from elayne

  • I recalled christiansen's disturbed jedi role in Star Wars, hes my 1st choice for Rand's too.. he can be soft, hard, disturbed, n insane. I like him a lot when he showed his anger. Perfect for Rands.

  • @cucukbadak It's just a shame he can't act his way out of a paper bag.

  • not to bad, however putting in nattilie portman as Nynaeve, and Keira knightly as aviendha might be bad considering they look a lot alike lol.

  • great picks up until the ta'verans, Ryan Reynolds as Perrin? James Franco as MAT? and HAYDEN CHRISTENSON as RAND!?!?!? I realize these are just your opinion but if these 3 were the stars I would kill myself. HAYDEN CHRISTENSON?!?!?!?! Have you SEEN the prequels?

  • Very good picks. I was lery of Russel Crowe as Lan, but then I rememberd Gladiator and its a good fit.

  • Some of these casting choices are horrible. Especially the female roles. Min, Avienda, Egwene etc all need to be strong women. Not watered down boring waifs like these actresses would make them.

  • The movie is currently on hold, no one has been cast and no scripts have been written. Pre-production should start sometime in late 2011, early 2012. More than likely no steps will be taken until the final book has released which should be Fall 2011.

Universal Pictures haven't decided how many movies will be released, however licensing is all ready underway with the help of Red Eagle Entertainment for the usual video game tie-ins.

As for your choices in cast... try again.

  • I like the choice for min a lot! I can see her definitely as min!

  • Ok i could see this Book series being made into a few movies BUT seeing as how we dont even have a First movie out is it not a bit early to have a definite cast for people like Aviendha who comes into the storyline 5 books in

  • To be honest i doubt this book could ever make into a movie. (At least a movie that’s good.) You would have to get James Cameron in the driver’s seat with Peter Jackson assisting to even have a shot at success.

  • i really love the people you have chosen but i would prefer selena gomez for egwene lol shes just how i pictured her long dark hair big brown eyes and the right age too

  • You need a more heavyset actor for Perrin. Idk about Elliot playing Thom. Maybe if he could get rid of his accent. Is Faile oriental? I never pictured her as such, more of a Middle Eastern look I thought.

  • I think Russell Crow would be better as Gareth Bryne

  • Good choices!! What I wouldn't give to see a movie like this put togeather!!

  • I apologize but half this cast doesn't even make sense. Just because an actor is a "big name actor" doesn't mean they are any good. Ryan Reynolds and Hayden Christensen, really?

  • Not bad!!! Not my image of Rand but he's hard to pin down anyway...EXcellent choices on the females!!!

  • the only one I can even possible agree with is Sam Elliot....because as I'm reading THAT'S exactly how I picture him. I dunno, IF this movie ever gets made I really hope they cast unknowns for most principal characters....I can't really picture any big Hollywood stars in these roles

  • my cast would differ in this way, instead of crow playing lan (because he would want to be the main character and demand way too much money) it would have to be Karl Urban For egwene i think you would need someone younger like emma roberts or instead you could have natalie portman, i'd have Jennifer Connelly playing nynaeve because she seems more experienced. For rand it can't be hayden christiansen, he's a douche. I like ryan reynolds and james franco playing perrin and mat though good choice

  • Reynolds to play Perrin? An Asian to play Faile? Are you fucking kidding me? Sometimes you got it right, the rest makes me wonder if you even read the book. Perrin is meant to be massive, with curly hair, not a pretty blonde boy who's slightly lean. And Faile is described along the lines of a traditional Lebanese girl, with the large nose and cheek bones, not an Asian.

    Fuck.

  • Hayden as Rand is pretty gay. Ryan as Perrin about the only one on your list i agree with but again its your list.

  • good work. Dont agree with Hayden for Rand though, he is too weak an actor and he doesnt look the part either.

  • haha ryan reynolds, really? I don't think it's possible for him not to be a comedic character, even though he is jacked. I vote for natalie portman and rachel weisz to play all the female characters.

  • All were awesome imo, except Egwene, and rand looked a bit wussy

  • All were awesome imo, except Egwene

  • Egwene is actually blond so can't be that actress.

  • @Kuddji1 Dude...what? "The very air seemed alight, and her BROWN hair blew from the wind of the open gap in the wall beside them. Egwene al'Vere."

It's mentioned over and over again, throughout and whole series, that she has brown hair.

  • @anyastar Ohh :P was a while since i read the books, must have mixe them up :)

  • Boo. If this movie series materializes it will have to feature lesser known actors. RR is a good actor, but nowhere in any of his films does he exhibit an ounce of what Perrin's role would require.

  • Russel Crowe SHOULD NOT be Lan LAN is much larger

  • i agree with everyone cept Lan, Elayne, and Perrin. I think amanda seyfried for elayne, Lan i could see christian bale playing (as long as he didnt have many lines), and with perrin its gonna be a miss no matter what as he is my favorite, tho i would love to see Ryan in the movie, maybe as a forsaken cause he does make one badass bad guy

Mat and Thom you nailed. when i picked up the books those two are the first i pictured playin them in the movies

  • In almost every fan cast I've seen or read about, Hayden Christianson is always Rand. People, he made Darth Vader a wimp.

  • Nice choices :D though i wouldve put scarlett johansen as Berelain as opposed to egwene...

  • Great choices... but Hayden as Rand? Can't follow you on that one.

  • isn't russ a little small for Lan

  • I wish, just once, we could see a fan cast list that doesn't include Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightly, or Natalie Portman. Not that I dislike them, but some fresh talent is needed to bring Jordan's world to life. And if you think Emma Watson can pull off a character with the steel of Elayne Trakand you've missed the essence of the character completely. And Zhang as Faile? no way. Faile is Romance in appearance. That out of the way, props to the K. Bates, J. Franco, M. Pfieffer, E. Thompson casting.

  • Some of these I think would be pretty good. But that transition from Hayden Christensen to the Great Serpent was EPIC!

  • great pics. excpet for the Lan, Rand, and Min.. ..

    especially Rand and Min...

That girl is way to ugly to play Min.

That guy who plays rand has to start out country then get regal then get pissed off and angry all the time. I just can't see that with who you selected for Rand.

Also Russel Crowe for lan?? I just always see lan as someone as buff as perrin but shorter and alot meaner.

But man other than that you freaking nailed it.. Congrats.

  • replace russel crowe with liam neeson, orlando bloom with jude law, but otherwise totally perfect.

  • Perrin, Matrim and Rand are very very off, but the rest is pretty good.

P.S. Does anyone else think that Ryan Reynolds would be great as Cauthon?

  • siuan has blue eyes, faile isnt japanese, min=grave failure.the other were preety close

  • That would be the most epic movie of all time.

  • I can't say I agree with all of these choices, but it's definitely the best list I've seen on Youtube.

  • I liked the video, but i'm pretty sure that faile has more of a spanish look, umm russel crowe is way too short for lan because lan is like 6 6, the guy for perrin is too small, hermione isn't hot enough for elayne, hayden isn't bad ass enough for Rand or tall, I think you can find a better person for Min and possibly egwene, what I don't get is how they will fit such a massive book into a movie, and I think it would take way too long to make

  • @DFMJK I agree with most of the critiques you have. My fixes would be Lan by Ralf Moeller(he is right about 6'5" i think), Chris Hemsworth for Rand(he is 6'3" and Thor, or his brother liam who is 6'5"), and for Perrin check out Paul Telfer (played as Hercules in tv series, 6'1"-2").

  • @jimcrazyskates Yeah those are all pretty good, I think the guy for perrin would work as long as he is like 230

  • pretty good, galad and gawayn need to be switched as galad (in my mind) is a bit bigger and more manly, aviendha needs to be a taller actress, same with lan, he needs to be a big dude, russell is just shy of 6 feet, not big enough, rand could work with some big boots making him taller, and i really like franco as mat and RR as perrin, i hadn't thought of them before, RR would have to put on some muscle and weight, but i think he can do it.

    overall really good though.
