  • "That is the deepest root canal work I ever heard of" LOL!

  • This lady was beautiful.

  • LOL, why is it that Arlene is more liked than Dorothy? It's so funny. Lol, the lady wasn't even a star and yet she was getting the hooting from the audience. LOL, their questions were so hilarious! They make it seem wrong but at the same time so funny but not illicit. This is what should be called comedy with class. Which "What's My Line" was where Bennett says, "Well if it goes in your mouth you have to say yes!" it was about medicine or something??

  • Does Arlene seem a little tipsy here? Sometimes I wonder about her!

  • @SOLE2SOUL considering how scary live TV could be, I am surprised more people didn't get drunk before performances.

  • Wow Arlene was really pushing it there! I love her.

  • What does Bennet say at 6:50? Dedis...???

  • Dentistry

  • Most real doctors (4 years medical school) don't look kindly on chiropractors. so it is very understood why no one would even go in that direction of thought.

  • Wish someonw would bite that loud mouth Bennett.

  • "Excuse me, Bennett" at 3:36 is a very, very polite way of saying "Hey - it's my turn, the camera's on me, you be quiet."

  • @wmlfan9 I would like to give Ms. Kilgallen the benefit of the doubt and say she was excusing herself for interrupting Mr. Cerf, but after watching countless WML episodes I would have to agree with you. If that came from Ms. Francis it would be a different story.

  • I thought that, too, Karin. Pretty naughty for those days. Funny stuff.

I wasn't thinking tipsy, but medicated or tired. It's amazing how both she and Dorothy can still manage great questions and throw out funny quips even when they seem to be in a slightly altered state.

  • @EDH1712 Agree it never diminished their brain power.

  • Did Arlene really say, and mean, what I think she did?? Very racy for those days, no? She does indeed seem rather tipsy,or something, in this clip.

Got to love Bennetts dentistry experiences though, and Dorothy's quickest NO I can ever remember seeing.

  • Arlene's specialty was the well phrased double entendre. She may have been just slightly off her game that night, but not necessarily intoxicated.

  • @KarinPluss what did she say?

  • lots of dynamics going on in this clip. but the most obvious is that the panel and John all seem quite tired.

  • Lots of fun. Thanks very much.

  • This woman is so elegant - she breaks my heart...

  • Wonderful! Arlene as delightful as always.

  • "You studied in this country even though you're practising in Anchorage." What an odd thing to say. Daly also refers to Alaska as "that new state of ours'. So in effect he's saying how ironic that an American chiropractor practising in the United States studied in the United States.

  • Arlene looks slightly medicated.

  • @Marckymarc71 I agree i thought thaat too.

  • @Marckymarc71 Agreed very much or may have been crying too.

  • Another GREAT clip! Thank you for posting! I love watching these wonderful What's My Line clips!

  • LOL Thank you!
