the Comp Team at my studio just started 5 years ago.

I joined 3 years ago. When they first started you had to atleast be in dance for 5 years before you could start.

now we have 4 teams. The youngest are like 6yr olds.

This was actually her 4th year of competition.:) She started the comp. team when she was 4.

She looks a LITTLE bit like Dakota Fanning in "Uptown girls". or dakota looked a little bit like her. Because I think "Uptown Girls" was shot later than Kelsie's dance thing.

But he outfit is REALLY cute <3 I love the way she moves!

about how many hours of ballet does kelsie take per week? whenever i watch her dance (as well as the rest of the DE dancers) i can tell that they take a lot of ballet. :)

She takes about 2.5 hours a week of ballet.  She also assists a little ballet class, so she is doing ballet in there also.

Just remember to keep your arms and hands soft... I'm aware of the sharpness of the dance, but you need to have seperation in your thingers.

Do you think you can do better at age 8? Let's see your videos! This is the best 8 year old ballet I have ever seen. She got first at KAR and I was on the Starpower website and she got 3rd OVERALL at the FINALS!If you actually were a dancer you would see the gracefulness and poise of this dancer. She is amazing!

She really isn't a huge fan of ballet. She loves lyrical and jazz. She takes lots of ballet, but it isn't her favorite.
