Did I even say this was my own video? Yet another good example of a n00b. Lets COUNT his buffs shall we? 1 is demon armor, 1 is PW fortitude and another is arcane intellect. These dont contribute to spell damage and I know another few dont but I cant name em as they use the same icons as other buffs/debuffs. Something like 6 buffs powering the hit so I think it IS quite an impressive hit. Add the fact he had berserking at the time, that alone could give anyone a massive crit. Owned by math.

Yeeah you do need a shitload of buffs to top that but for overkill you could also get sayges fortune of damage from darkmoon faire for 10% extra cos it lasts 1 hour.
yeah this isn't really that big of a deal. if you look at his buffs he has 3 short duration buffs ticking which I'm assuming are power infusion from a discipline priest, either ZHC/ToEP and some other trinket or ZHC/ToEP before they didn't let you use both at hte same time. I'm an SM/Ruin spec warlock in raid gear and get 4k crits for shadowbolts on a daily basis. If I specc'd PvP I could probably get soulfire damn close to him without the help of other players.

This isnt me but that crit wouldnt have been possible without + damage kit, pots, buffs, epics, FULL destruction line. That probably tooka full week to set up cos you ned to get a lucky crit in with soul fire. A normal desto spec lock with lowest soul fire rank can crit for 3500 but not nearly enough.
Cool crit, but mages can do 12k in pre-tbc with frostbolt :)
