  • people this is a test and he clearly states that the device is engineered and made for PISTOLS

so stfu with your HUR DURR HUR DERPA HERP DERP SHIT LASOR OMG comments

  • Viridian can fail ? that stinks.

  • Im sure it was the muzzle blast of that SBR that broke it, not the recoil. That's RIGHT at the muzzle.

  • surefire all the way, I may try this out on a paintball marker if the oppurtunity presents itself. Those surprisingly have a little bit of recoil

  • @MI6CORPORAL

LOL a $300 optic on a paintball gun? WTF.....

  • @928sniper since when was that an optic?

  • that sucks! thanks for posting this, cause i was going to pick one up and mount it on my AR.

  • Isn't that rifle's recoil softer than a pistol?

  • @themouas

    no

  • This guys name has been cluster p huck also. I get his name mixed up since he has diff names diff episodes of Eric's show haha.

  • It's hienz not rosco. I noticed him from handgun podcast.

  • Gonna love the quote.

  • +1 For Surefire

  • should be over engineered anyway, ill stick with my surefire

  • Thanks for saving me $300 lol!

  • @badjeep02 its made for pistols not rifles dude

  • dang what a bummer

  • But still, if it doesn't work with a rifle. Why should I buy it if I know it's not built strong to last.

  • Wow, good job..

  • Percieved recoil isn't the same as the recoil impulse that the weapon is subjected to. Remember that you can't use an airgun scope on a real rifle and vice-versa. the recoil impulses are different and need to be engineered against.

Would love to see how an NcStar product would fair in a test like this...

  • @Whitehorze

"that you can't use an airgun scope on a real rifle and vice-versa."

Why cant you use a real rifle optic on a gun that has NO recoil?

  • Exactly i7q---My .40 XDM kicks 4 times more than my AR does....I mean 5.56 in a long barreled rifle is signifficantly less potent in terms of recoil compared to a .40--or even worse--a .357 sig!

  • seems like a lot of pistols have more recoil than an ar15

  • maybe just a bad apple? i mean send it back and get your warrenty.... that really should get owned by that application.... maybe it being upside down had something to do with it....?

  • this video is quite possibly one of the most telling videos i've seen into this laser. Can't wait for the update. I seriously considered buying that system, but after watching this, will probably stick to just a standard light.

  • I don't get it. My 9mm and .45 recoil more, feels that way anyway, than my AR.

  • Guess it sure as hell wouldn't survive my glock 20... Sad one of these seemed interesting.

    I guess I'll stick to my TLR-3.

  • dude ur shit got owned!!

  • Ah, the joys of buying Chinese-made gear...

  • @Hiluxtaco AMEN !.........

  • AHHHHH YOU BROKE MY HEART! I was just about to buy 3 of these! one for my hk91 for my glock 20 and my mossberg! =( not no more! =( if it cant even handle a dinky .223 doubt itll take that .308 10mm and def not a 12g =(

  • Glad it was just on a rifle, I just bought one for my glock, and when I read the title I was ready to sell it !

  • Go with a Surefire.

  • Nice weapon. The Viridian situation kinda sucks, but it tells me what NOT to do. Thanks.
