I've never been big into memorizing (or even fully understanding) the lyrics of songs, but I decided to check out the lyrics for this song. To some degree, I don't understand Mustaine's refusal to play this song since becoming a born again Christian. If anything, the lyrics portray the seduction, and terrible cost of a Faustian deal. If anything, I read it as a cautionary tale. I don't see much in the way of glorification here.

(Nor were they American.) The original Big Four has Exodus replacing Slayer. In my book, the ideal Big Four would be Megadeth, Metallica, Overkill, and Believer.

But they inspired the Death metal scene a little too much for me to really think of them as thrash. Also, to be honest, I never really liked much of Anthrax before "Worship Music." Like I said, it's really just my opinion. I have plenty of "perfect metal lineup" ideas in my head. :)
