I'm not as upset about that as I am the defensive rankings. kobe made it over D wade onto the 1st team when D wade had almost 2 blocks and 2 steals a game. I watched him play amazing D all season and I was sure he would be 1st team but based on reputation kobe automatically got it. Also, why was lebron second in DPOY? His defensive stats aren't that great, he wasn't a lockdown defender like a saw D wade being and all he really did was get those "chase down blocks" (which D wade had more of btw)

you make very good points, but to make an nba all defensive 1st team, you'll need more than blocks and steals to impress the voters. i live in so cal, so the only times i get to see wade play is when they play nationally televised games. but kobe made it over wade because he's a very good one on one defender, he doesn't put up 2 steals and 2 blocks, but he still get's his. whether it's block a dunk, or shut someone down. wade was on the 2nd defensive team. so he did get recognition for his D.

I had league pass and I watch every Miami game and 70-80 of L.A.'s and Cleveland's games because I always watch the best players to get better and I'll tell you, with all honesty, Dwyane Wade could lockdown anyone just as well, if not better then kobe. Because of this i feel he was better because he's even in the one on one aspect and superior statistically. He reads the offense and plays better in a zone then any guard i've ever seen.
