yea that quality of the video is excellent , was thinking of getting a carrot stix for frog fishing, but i'm already using 4 mojos, flip'n/crank/spinner bait/top water~jerk bait, and they make a frog rod also.think they are around the same price, but the golds may be a bit more.
@bassbrigadier lol no lie i dont even have a fave book haha! 16 years old to lol i know weird right but yeah man i = am decent at fishing on a low income way using citicas and such but yeah for sure bro ill make one but if u want to and cant find me msg me on youtube peace
@pikefisherman3 Thanks for your inquiry bro! We in fact are preparing the launch of our collection of BB tees pretty soon. Check out our facebook page for the announcement. Cast and Destroy brotha!
buddy no offense i am wondering y do u use 70lb for small bass like this .. the only sole reason is that i have order 55lb daiwa samurai braid from Cabelas today.. i was concerned about the mm if it will dig into the shimano curado reel.. as i will be using it in saltwater and freshwater .. basically fishes from 2 - 20lb .. cant say.. but do u think i have made a mistake or will 55lb do it...
@harikarthikeyan i wouldnt worry about the dig issue. Daiwa braid is super smooth. U cant even really hear it when your reeling in a heavy fish. Just becareful on what kind of knot you tie. 55lb will be sufficient enough. I use 70lb but might go heavier, pulling a 8 lb donkey out of the thick stuff you have to have stout gear and most importantly line.
Hey seriously... keep this up.. Very appreciative of this informative post.. Love to hear the exact bait, line, color, temp, wind, and time.. makes you put it together in your mind and enjoy it more.
Try a heavier action rod. I use a 7' kistler frog and slop rod and i always hookup!Downside is its very expensive but there are rods justs as good and cheaper like the daiwa L&T frog rod.
Let the bass inhale the frog. let the bass have the frog in his mouth before u set the hook,i have the same problem with topwater baits,i always get excited and pull the bait from the fish before they can get ahold of it lol
where in the delta were you fishing?

Exactly what Redfins7248 and kicknbazz1615 said. Heavy action rod and wait til the fish has inhaled the frog.
