There's a book called "Grunge Is Dead" (History of Seattle Music Scene).

Sean talks about after this show, Layne's going to the hospital in an ambulance, the KC cops are running around backstage looking for drugs, the guys are throwing drugs in the garbage as they're running for limo's to get to the airport before getting busted....

Sean says that's the night he knew "it was over"...

I never saw AIC live so youtube is such a treat for me, thanks for this upload. I can't help but move when I hear them - tapping feet, head bob and even some air guitar... then I see how little, if at all, Layne is moving and it makes me want to cry. I never had to give up anything harder than cigarettes so I can't truly relate to his struggle, but my heart goes out to anyone suffering through and surviving addiction. God bless and keep you all.

Thanks Melissa, what a treat. I can't believe how lifeless Layne is at the show. It must have been hard for the other band members to see him this way. He still gave it all he got. Great show, great vocals. Layne I love you so much. I know exactly what he was going through, being an addict myself. You do your best every day to just survive and still function.

Jerry had some of the dates messed up on the live album. Them Bones and God Am are from this show. Not sure, but possibly A Little Bitter aand Again also. I dont believe anything from the Live album was actually from the Kiel Center. The Audio here is identical

He happens to nail man in the box on his last performance, while he struggled with the other three kiss reunion shows. It's like he knew this was his last performance.

@ItHurtsWhenIPee100 I think he could've just been doing something different when they performed Man In The Box at the three other 96 shows. He probably sang this song more then anything else they ever did and while he didn't often sing songs differently then they sounded on the albums, he did do it once in a while.
