  • Listen up!

  • ugly ass dude.. stfu

  • @PeterIdinahu Yo' mom's a dude

  • why are you saying RIP?

  • R.I.P

  • R.I.P

  • Goodnight sweet prince, we will miss you

    R.I.P

  • goodnight sweet prince.

    RIP Thom Yorke

  • Rest in peace, Mr. Yorke.

  • I Love Thom Yorke and his music, but his thoughts about global warming are nothing new, many people in america feel the same way, I doubt largely that the media portrays it. But he is a good man, great musician.

  • we will achieve new energy through nanotechnology solar panels

  • i would go gay for thom

  • if you're interested in actually understanding what thom is talking about, try smoking weed and talking to strangers for a couple of years.

    it's quite interesting.

  • global warming is a myth. Hockey stick graph, email scandal right before climate gate etc

  • everyone allways arguing whether someone is good or not , talented or not , and well every artist is and on henrys show he brings out the best of them

  • Happy Birthday!

  • I'd like to point out that it's okay for Thom Yorke to be an incredible musician and not well versed in global concerns, or as a talented orator for that matter. I say this with the opinion that he's an incredible artist. We need to get away from the idea that the celebrity populace and artistic community are the only voices worth listening to...and we really need to stop giving them an intellectual pass in light of greater accomplishments

  • i love that man. i really. really. do.

  • I want to shave this man 's hair off and put it in my mouth.

  • @jimimyhero Thats.....kinky?

  • @ChetZenor Sick. Is the right word.

  • Five people like to pollute.

  • Did anyone notice that Thom's shirt was magically buttoned up after 3:07?

  • I have an endless amount of respect for this man. He's so magnificent.

  • All you straight men stop admiring this man for his passion and creativity!!! For gods sake you are all so in touch with your sexuality!!

  • I would put money on thom liking black flag lol....

  • he is dead sexy fellows

  • It1s better for you not to hear this message of Thom. It's serious.

  • @jamesarongray Do you mean most people in the US? There's obviously so much propaganda to persuade Americans that it's a natural phenomenon.

Sadly, although climate change has happened in the past (as part of nature change) in this case WE are to blame and if we don't do something to stop it, soon we'll suffer the consequences.

  • When did Henry Rollins have his own show? And WHY?????????

  • what's causing it is jobs. we don't need to do them, we're coerced into doing them by the ruling classes that own the land.

90% of rush hour traffic is 'jobs'.

If we stop allowing people to be coerced into jobs via mortgages and rent, and instead allowed everyone to freely own a reasonable amount of land without borders, so there'll be very little reason for disputes, BUT allowing folk to build careers if they want.

    huge drop in oil consumption.

    if people went veggie

    even more energy saved.

  • All of you dudes that are getting all goo-goo eyed over Thom Yorke here, and who posting these ridiculous comments are raging closet homosexuals. Get a life... it's about the music.

  • @Gravitymann its hyperbole for the sake of comedy, calm down.

  • @Gravitymann and you're a raging homophobe lol.

  • I would engage in sexual relations with this man, and then brag about it later.

  • does anybody hearing the message from Thom?? idont think so...

  • What I would do to simply shake this man's hand...

  • We need more intelligent people like Yorke.

  • this wonderful man badly needs a good night's sleep

  • you cynical freaks , iheartNAomi was making an honset comment without hurting anyone`s sentiments , all you people wanna do is get into a confrontation with others, of course anything you don`t agree can be conveyed in a friendly way...

  • @ bjorinn:

Even if what you're saying is true, you're completely ignoring the argument that oil is running out. Plus the amount of money thats wasted due to our power hungry lifestyle. Plus the threat faced with relying on fuel supplies from other countries..

  • And lets not forget the effect it's having on our personal health, through the air, water, and food we consume.

Never mind the fact that climate scientists aren't denying the facts he has stated in the first place. The Earth does naturally change, what they believe is that there are more drastic changes going on in addition to that, and we're to blame.

  • I agree with you on those points. But on the "climate change" or "global warming" issue, it is driven by sunspots. And that we should be taxed because of this fraud is just outragous.

But I totally agree that we need to find renewable sources of energy. No doubt about that.

  • The way out is to stop worrying about it. Global warming or climate change is normal. There have been warmer as well as colder periods than today. It is mostly driven by sun spots and if you compare the sun activity with the temperature on Earth, the connection is obvious.

  • Well, thank god you've cleared that up!

I'll let all those highly educated, professional. climatologists that are so concerned know they can relax and go ahead and shop for new Hummers they don't really need.

  • Fantastic!

  • WE ALL GONNA DIE!

  • Hehe, I don't know if I should laugh or cry about the climate hysteria. People don't even LOOK at the connection between sunspots and the temperature on Earth! It's sad and hilarious at the same time.

  • @skylineiiigtr We all already died. Only 6% of all people who ever were born are alive today.

  • Yeah but a little efficiency and consience about the enviroment isn't bad. I have my doubts about global warming but there are more direct evidences of the negative influence of human being on the enviroment, look for the plastic patch in the pacific. There's too much production of plastics and shit in general, totally useless.

  • Sure, I have no objections to that. What I criticized was the "global warming" issue though and its connection to CO2 emitted by man. I just meen that the temperature on Earth is mostly connected to sunspot activity and not CO2 (or other "greenhouse gasses").

But sure, clean up everything else, plastic, toxins of any kind.

  • i wonder how many cubic tonnes of carbon his jet pumped out on the way over to the u.s to promote the record

  • Do a YouTube search for "Jesse Ventura Global Warming"

  • FFFFUUUUUUUCK!! Dx God Thom with politics and global warming... Well it does get annoying, but hey at least he cares about the whole world. :}

  • i love thom yorke ,and i love listening to his point of views about stuff, but in this last years all his statments are about political and enviremental issues, and its just boring aven thu i agree with a lot of what he says, but when i search for his interviews i search for his interesting thoughts about music and art but i don't seem to find any anymore,he's thom the activist now more than thom the artist

  • Comment removed

  • He is very intelligent, it's just that often he has a hard tim turning his thoughts into words and his words into proper sentences. I think it's because there's too much going on in his head. And also, interviews aren't really his thing so he is probably bored or disinterested. I know I make it sound like I know him which is not so, but that's just what I think.

  • when I was younger I was given all sorts of tests to find out if I had learning problems and the doctors said that I was very intelligent but had trouble explaining my thoughts. this is what I thought of when I saw his interview so I personally agree because I know first hand the frustration he endures

  • @iHeartNaomi yeah sorry you dont know him,so therefore you are talking shit, who gives a fuck how he talks or what he thinks,he makes good music thats it.

  • @iHeartNaomi i have that problem too :(

  • @iHeartNaomi I think he has a trouble communicating because he is a musical genius, which means his true means of expression is through music, and not natural speech.

  • @astralacuity That's ridiculous.

  • @iHeartNaomi Has anyone considered he's just an egomaniac?

  • @LanceDirk so's yer mom

  • this conversation has some weight.

  • Start with youself, don't have baby's!

Thats a fucking gift to the world...

  • it dosent matter what you say or do eventually the worlds conditions will never last for ever

  • I couldn't picture Thom liking Henry Rollins...

....one's made a career out of making incredible music, and humbly trying to avoid any unneccesary attention otherwise.

...the other has made a career out of screaming sophmoric poetry over other musicians, and hogging as much spotlight as possible spouting off mid-IQ observations with high-IQ confidence and arrogance.

...you figure out who's who lol.

  • Yeah, he obviously hates Rollins during whole interview.

    /sarcasm

  • I think Thom demanded that Henry sat in another room so as not to be set off.

  • it's hard to believe how so many people still believe that global warming doesn't exist.

and ,hypothetically, if it doesn't exist we still have to worry about our coal and oil running out, sure there are new methods of fuel (brazil grows crops and is turned into an alcoholic fuel) but alot of people are over looking them.

soon we gotta pull our fingers out and do something (abit hypcrytical for me saying that considering i'm using a laptop DOIEE)

  • free pudding for everybody!!! lol

  • LMAO that made me laugh out loud

  • you dont need subtitles guitarrock4life chuckiecheeseforever whatever it is........lol........what you need is a much SLower version of this video so that your brain can process the english language much easier to a level that you can understand, which would be elementary GUITARROCK4Life Bra!

  • haha

  • Do you not understand English?

  • i have seen you on other thom yorke interview videos, spouting the same sort of shite, how about you fuck off onto a jonas brothers video and enjoy yourself you wanker

  • ok that was supposed to be a reply lol

  • you're cool and very smart too, probably the biggest legend on youtube

  • The evidence for human cause of global warming is overwhelming. Governments have been denying this for at least a decade, especially the US. You should check out the facts before crying conspiracy. How is it in anyones interest financially to totally change the way we get our energy? We have some hard choices to make but I fear the capitalist dogma will destroy us all.

  • i don't really think its fair to classify it as a 'capitalist dogma'. capitalism can and has taken many guises throughout history, including some that are more responsible than others.

although i agree it is in our best interest to stop global warming its important to realise that something as simple as a field is environmental destruction. humans have reworked the planet to their benefit. the nile may flood, but siberia will in time become a bread basket. the planet won't die.

  • guitarrock are you retarded. al gores not a scientist, but then what about the hundreds of scientists who speak about global warming?

  • I met the scientist who wrote Inconvenient Truth, Gore was just a face.

  • nuh-uh! Gore invented Global Warming right after he invented the Internet.

  • :) he's such a great person

  • BLAHAHAHA! I always wonder why he overpronounces the K at the end of "The Big Ask". I now know. He doesn't want to sound like he's saying "The Big Ass". I just thought he was slightly odd. I still think that, just for different reasons.

  • Nice George Monbiot interview. What? It was Thom Yorke? I could've sworn....

Keep making music though. For a long time.

  • Save it Yorke. I really question Thom's openness to any other side of the argument concerning global warming.

  • there is no 'other' side

  • Typical.

  • well there isnt. the science is there - theres no debate anymore.

  • Except, you know, the scientists that completely disagree. Both sides use info and methods that will be conducive to their biases. Time will tell.

  • What if we just waited to see who was right? It's all fine and dandy if it works out your way but what if it works out that global warming is real? Wouldn't it be too late by then to realistically do anything about it?

  • Indeed.

I'm completely for new policies, just not in the name of global warming. Though I may have to settle with that if things don't pick up.

  • Dude, you're a moron. Are you saying no one can be confident of ANY topic?

Thom's confident human-caused global warming is real and significant. Wow, so let's criticize him?

I'm an Atheist and I am of the opinion that you have to be an absolute idiot to believe in any sort of personal God. I arrived at this view with an open mind, but, after examining both sides fairly, I clearly found theism to be ridiculous.

Thom likewise finds it ridiculous to think global warming is not real.

  • I'm too tired to respond. :)

  • Ok, well, just to let you know, unless you do not hold any opinions confidently, then you cannot criticize Yorke.

  • maybe if artists got together and stopped helping propagandize us into world taxes and helped STOP THE REAL POISONING of our air (chemtrails) we could breath easier?

  • what I liked about global warming is that it has brought more in contact with planet earth. I take into consideration now the fact that as a human beaing I need to do my part and I love it. Good bte to global warming ;)

  • Haha being.

  • the big ass

  • yes thom, our children are counting on us. you keep on fighting thom, my kid is counting on you and me!

  • 4:30 and up is brilliant. (and most of the other shit he says as well)

  • Was wondering why he always emphasised the 'k' :p

  • hes such a charming man, and i say that as a heterosexual man myself

  • I totally aggree with you, MCshIthead!

Many people can't accept that a heterosexual man can call another man charming without being homo- or bisexual..

  • People can't accept saying another man is charming without sounding gay? Really? I find that hard to believe and incredibly intolerant.

  • Sad, isn't it?

  • I think i love thom yorke

sometimes i wish i was gay just so i can feel sexually attracted to him

  • haha!!! :P

  • If you met him, you would probably try and do something to him. That's nothing to be ashamed of, and it doesn't necessarily make you gay. It's not just black and white. You know if you're properly gay or not, whether or not you fuck Thom a few times. You could bum him, and walk away knowing you still prefer boning women. I don't even think that would make you bi-sexual. It would make you straight, but a bit of a Thomfucker.

  • You deserve yet another thumbs up for saying that!

Thom is an original, a free spirit, but in a smart, constructive way. His charm is completely his own. Gotta love him...

  • It's sad that we have to end such statements with disclaimers like "I'm straight BTW!1".

  • maybe, but im sure there are sadder things to cry about

  • @MCshlthead Maybe you're thomosexual!

  • The Big Asss-ka...which sounds like something else, lol.

    thom's so inspiring.

  • He's so smart
