I Love Thom Yorke and his music, but his thoughts about global warming are nothing new, many people in america feel the same way, I doubt largely that the media portrays it. But he is a good man, great musician.
everyone allways arguing whether someone is good or not , talented or not , and well every artist is and on henrys show he brings out the best of them
I'd like to point out that it's okay for Thom Yorke to be an incredible musician and not well versed in global concerns, or as a talented orator for that matter. I say this with the opinion that he's an incredible artist. We need to get away from the idea that the celebrity populace and artistic community are the only voices worth listening to...and we really need to stop giving them an intellectual pass in light of greater accomplishments
Fortunately, all scientific knowledge and fact-based research proves 100% against even the slightest hint of such a concept as "global warming." Rest easy, folks.
@jamesarongray Do you mean most people in the US? There's obviously so much propaganda to persuade Americans that it's a natural phenomenon.
Sadly, although climate change has happened in the past (as part of nature change) in this case WE are to blame and if we don't do something to stop it, soon we'll suffer the consequences.
what's causing it is jobs. we don't need to do them, we're coerced into doing them by the ruling classes that own the land.
90% of rush hour traffic is 'jobs'.
If we stop allowing people to be coerced into jobs via mortgages and rent, and instead allowed everyone to freely own a reasonable amount of land without borders, so there'll be very little reason for disputes, BUT allowing folk to build careers if they want.
All of you dudes that are getting all goo-goo eyed over Thom Yorke here, and who posting these ridiculous comments are raging closet homosexuals. Get a life... it's about the music.
you cynical freaks , iheartNAomi was making an honset comment without hurting anyone`s sentiments , all you people wanna do is get into a confrontation with others, of course anything you don`t agree can be conveyed in a friendly way...
Even if what you're saying is true, you're completely ignoring the argument that oil is running out. Plus the amount of money thats wasted due to our power hungry lifestyle. Plus the threat faced with relying on fuel supplies from other countries..
And lets not forget the effect it's having on our personal health, through the air, water, and food we consume.
Never mind the fact that climate scientists aren't denying the facts he has stated in the first place. The Earth does naturally change, what they believe is that there are more drastic changes going on in addition to that, and we're to blame.
I agree with you on those points. But on the "climate change" or "global warming" issue, it is driven by sunspots. And that we should be taxed because of this fraud is just outragous.
But I totally agree that we need to find renewable sources of energy. No doubt about that.
The way out is to stop worrying about it. Global warming or climate change is normal. There have been warmer as well as colder periods than today. It is mostly driven by sun spots and if you compare the sun activity with the temperature on Earth, the connection is obvious.
I'll let all those highly educated, professional. climatologists that are so concerned know they can relax and go ahead and shop for new Hummers they don't really need.
Hehe, I don't know if I should laugh or cry about the climate hysteria. People don't even LOOK at the connection between sunspots and the temperature on Earth! It's sad and hilarious at the same time.
Yeah but a little efficiency and consience about the enviroment isn't bad. I have my doubts about global warming but there are more direct evidences of the negative influence of human being on the enviroment, look for the plastic patch in the pacific. There's too much production of plastics and shit in general, totally useless.
Sure, I have no objections to that. What I criticized was the "global warming" issue though and its connection to CO2 emitted by man. I just meen that the temperature on Earth is mostly connected to sunspot activity and not CO2 (or other "greenhouse gasses").
But sure, clean up everything else, plastic, toxins of any kind.
i love thom yorke ,and i love listening to his point of views about stuff, but in this last years all his statments are about political and enviremental issues, and its just boring aven thu i agree with a lot of what he says, but when i search for his interviews i search for his interesting thoughts about music and art but i don't seem to find any anymore,he's thom the activist now more than thom the artist

And also, interviews aren't really his thing so he is probably bored or disinterested. I know I make it sound like I know him which is not so, but that's just what I think.
when I was younger I was given all sorts of tests to find out if I had learning problems and the doctors said that I was very intelligent but had trouble explaining my thoughts. this is what I thought of when I saw his interview so I personally agree because I know first hand the frustration he endures
@iHeartNaomi yeah sorry you dont know him,so therefore you are talking shit, who gives a fuck how he talks or what he thinks,he makes good music thats it.
@iHeartNaomi I think he has a trouble communicating because he is a musical genius, which means his true means of expression is through music, and not natural speech.

Dude, you're a moron. Are you saying no one can be confident of ANY topic?
Thom's confident human-caused global warming is real and significant. Wow, so let's criticize him?
I'm an Atheist and I am of the opinion that you have to be an absolute idiot to believe in any sort of personal God. I arrived at this view with an open mind, but, after examining both sides fairly, I clearly found theism to be ridiculous.
Thom likewise finds it ridiculous to think global warming is not real.
@PJGR21 Atheism is never the result of an "open mind." God created man with a natural intuition to look for a higher power. If one truly has an open mind and searches for the truth, it will be found.
