In the 80's I'd catch him at Larry Blakes, Berkeley Ca. They have this small basement club there with the smallest stage. (it's larger now). There was just enough room for his three piece band, just barely. We'd be sittin' a foot or two a way. Seriously it was small. The guy would absolutely shread the night away none stop for a couple hours, take a fiftenn minute break then tear the place down till 2am. It was mind blowing to say the least. The guy would literally vibrate around the place.

We may know each other!  I was there many nights. Great music and vibe I haven't experienced since.

In 1975 he was a frequent player at the Lompico Club near Felton CA.

He plays a mean piano too.
